A new book, the old one fell apart. - Elora Otho.

Before you rests a leather bound book. No fancy symbol, no art. Just a leather book with a single white feather within. If you're reading it, you probably shouldn't be! These are her private thoughts, feelings and so on. Sneaky little buggers you.

Quote:Year, 1737AC - One day before the Battle of the Tower.

There is much to write but little time for now. The ninth war to mark itself within my life has sprung. Doubt is cast on either side as he said and she said nonsense is passed back and forth. Some say a conquest, some say an out right attack on the Crown. I say just another war to scar Esshar and the lives it holds.

I remember the Queen Mother asking for me to keep from retirement until the wars had ended. I do believe I may see myself working until they lie my body in the ground and my soul dances with Cassius among the stars.

I wish there was more time for me to write today. But there is much to do in preparation of the battle. I pray that the Stars guide our Magi and our soldiers so that we may see ourselves victorious. I don't know when I'll have the time to write again but I will try at some point. Probably some time after the battle.

Always yours,
Elora.

Quote:Year 1738A.C. Talks of Peace?

Since the naming of the new Stellus talks of peace among the Church begins to grow. There have been many suggestions made, though ultimately I know what will happen. If this peace is obtained it will be nothing more than a temporary ceasefire. There will NEVER be true peace upon Esshar, not ever.

There will always be those who foolishly believe in some ideal or goal of oppression or some other nonsense. There will always those 'edgelords' and 'chads' as people call them. I haven't any idea what those slurs mean but I see the truth behind them. There will always be someone with a chip on their shoulder thinking everyone in the world is out to get them. That they HAVE to create drama and death and battle and war, because their mind depends on it. Without it they cannot function properly.

There will never be Peace. Not ever. Not true peace. But what I can be certain of is that there will always be War. Always. War is never right. Regardless of the side you're on, War is never right. Both sides lose in the end, regardless of Victory.

I simply hoped those in power would have seen such a truth. Long before now. Yet the ignorance of Youth is the Bliss of life.

Always yours,
Elora.
