The Children Initiative
#1
Ok so, I feel this game does many things amazingly. But having these many people playing children, and then not acting anything like a child would kinda bothers me. (not really, but it breaks immersion at times when it's so displaced.) Thus, I do have a little concept idea so people can RP accordingly based on age and what not.

1) Keep the age nerf [Incoming Damage Increase]
2) Apply a system where there are 'RPP' caps so to speak. Not really a cap but if your say, starting off at 13-14 [Whatever the youngest age is]. Getting to RPL 120 will feel like trying to get to RPL 200 at that age. The benefits however is your RP and Activity still get logged. So as you grow older, your rewards will come easier and more frequent and of course the soft/hard cap would as well.

The purpose of this would be incentive for people to make more adult based characters, and those who are children to be able to focus more on child RP and not become little child war soldiers/heroes.

children can be, minimally, 13 from what i can see

by far and large children were never a true issue for anything but a very vocal portion of the playerbase, and they've received endless nerfs and balancing remarks

much has been tried and it sucked. at a certain point people just need to suck it up

Children are oil meant to grease the gears of the Essharian war machine.

Their small bodies, their hopes and dreams, their idyllic way of thinking all join to form the most potent lubricant, flawless in its ability to keep the gears of war from grinding to a halt.

God bless child soldiers.

These are kids who can shoot fire out of their fingertips, not normal kids whose only super power is eating their own boogers. There’s no reason to discourage playing younger characters either. Just because you don’t like how someone else is RPing doesn’t mean there needs to be a big wall put up to stop it for you.

RPL caps for kids (at the very least, on rebirths) might be interesting, if not really related to anything that's considered an issue. A rebirthed 13 year old being like triple the level of a fresh spawned one doesn't necessarily feel great, even if it's hardly an issue so close to the last level wipe

I mean, we are all entitled to our opinions eh? Im just stating my own thoughts on it, because magical mystical anime game or not. Progression is always a nice thing, and it gives a more authentic feel to the RPs. And what is discouraging about that? It would make roleplays more dynamic if you asked me but we all have our tastes. *nod nod*
