Justice for Nyeshk Greatsword!

Above, I show you weapons. These weapons are very nice, apart from one. The Nyeshk Greatsword. Either take it's weight away, reduce it drastically, or add weight to everything else. Because right now, you're beyond better off keeping the Mythril sword. It's meant to be a boost in power and strength, 100 weight is ridiculous. If everything is having zero weight, remove it's weight. Or at the very least set it to 50.

Friendly neighbourhood Dazzer.

Other weapons should have weight and the Nyeshk Greatsword should be reduced to 60 weight or something like that.

Mythril Blade: 20p/20m. If you enchant it and it's pristine, that's 43p/20m > 63 power to melee, that's 10 more than a fully enchanted mythril stave (53p/50w) but with no weight in exchange.

Nyeshk Greatsword: 15p/40m/100w. If enchanted and pristine, that's 38p/40m/100w > 78 power to melee but the weight doesn't make it worth it whilst Mythril and Arcanium Blades are weightless.

it'd be impossible to moderate now but they always should have had weight added to them. we could do it now but then the weapons that had no weight on them would still exist and it'd be fucky.

its because of that and that alone that nyeshk swords are really bad, now, and probably just need to have their numbers tacked up (or weight removed/lowered, i guess. that could work too).

Then you make it punishable, if someone is using a weapon which has no weight. Simple as that.

You could allow stave users to get a weight reduction via application to 30 or 20 weight and update the crafting window to allow lighter staves to be produced.

And I only suggest this because then the admin team would not need to focus on witchhunting who and what that has an old patch mythril or arcanium blade and instead allow people to come forward in their own time to get a fix to their staves; so everything is on a more level playing field without accosting people on what they are using and technically nobody gets nerfed, they remain where they were.

"Change: The 'weight' of mythril and arcanium staves has been reduced to 0 to match their counterparts."
This was put in for this patch, so the Mythril and Arc at least have zero weight now to match their sword counterparts. Don't know if it was retroactive though, but I'm hearing it was. Perhaps the rest of the staves could be brought to that too?

Also for the love of god, can we get them switched to 9 nyeshk instead of 10?

Every other weapon/armor in the game has been set to multiples of three for convenience, but not Nyeshk Greatswords. Even the Nyeshk armor has been adjusted to such a standard.

It's retroactive, my mythril stave on my character now no longer has any weight.

The only time a value will be permanently saved with an item is if it doesn't match up with the value from the code. This means that if something on an item changes and nobody has modified that value (via admin editing or the sort), that value will continue to stay matched up with the code.

Once it's been modified, however, there's not much to be done; since I can't just prevent those values from saving outright (that'd get rid of the ability to have customs/uniques)

Then if everything else now has no weight, weapon wise. Doesn't it make sense to remove Nyeshk Greatsword's weight? For the future.
