THE ̶T̶W̶I̶L̶I̶G̶H̶T̶ OSRONAN PAPER

In the first issue of Giannis' journal, I'll pinpoint some bits I found plainly wrong in the last issue of The Twilight Paper. Before you proceed, I highly advise you to read The Twilight Paper's last issue. (https://chronicles-of-esshar.com/forum/s...86#pid9886). Despite its bias, it's still a way to keep you up to date.

Hello, Osrona! I am Giannis and this will be my first issue. I don't expect many readers besides my parents and my best friend Fran, still, there's no way I can ignore it. As of lately, there's a newspaper going on and I'll tell you the truth: that newspaper isn't 'journalism'. What is journalism if not telling people the truth? You heard it first here: that thing is Osronan media. It's a lie, it isn't for our people, but for them, those whose surnames granted them everything. There isn't truth in that newspaper, there are only guesses, things told by the writer's point of view and lack of overall awareness.

'The people always found it easy to forget and put their worries aside' that's a lie! We haven't, but our worries were always diminished to the point of not existing to individuals who didn't feel such worries. The worries will always be there, and they won't disappear because of a new King, they might even become worse, especially when the new King is a teenager.
-
-
Now, I want you to prove to me if that was indeed documented. Did galas in the past really help citizens? I say they didn't. Some of them were nobles-only, some of them had charges on the entrance, so, asking again: did it help?! I tell you. No! The ascension of a King is, indeed, much more than just a party planned by nobles. It's worse. It's the status quo of systematic oppression where people who don't deserve to be crowned are crowned.

I'm sorry, 'The Twilight Paper'. I doubt anyone lives to see the rise of a single King, perhaps some royal families, but not the people, they're too busy trying to work and put food on the table for their families. Though it does baffle me when you say the 'tensions of war seemed to be forgotten', perhaps for those who were gathered in the castle to watch a teenager being crowned, but not us-- those who can't fight were still afraid of this war's outcome. My parents, our people, people can't forget the war. Especially when our country is warring with bloodthirsty warmongers!

Our country can't be managed by a single teen, and it obviously can't be managed by a single a group, the country is formed by us, Osrona's people who wake early so we can work, people who punch in woods for hours so their children can eat, people who danger themselves in caves so they get remainders of ores, people who spend their energy searching for reagents and ores so they can improve their abilities.

If you wish to be sponsored by Giannis' journal™, meet me in Esshar. I'm pale, lanky, scrawny, and my hair is black. My clothes are pretty unique; an embroidered leather, and a commoner's pants. I'm usually in the marketplace.

Any passerby in the sewers could notice a lanky and pale teenager writing a humble paper without any kind of place to lean the paper on, being his only support to write his first issue a wall which he leaned on so he could write long texts without any kind of back pain afterward. Some parts of the journal stank, some of them were even bitten! 'Damn rats' were echoed through the sewers once such was perceived. But despite these difficulties, Giannis wouldn't be prevented from finishing his first issue. Once it ended, Giannis took them to experienced magi printers who excel at multiplying papers. Alone, he tried to deliver these to some commoners, leaving a plea in the journal bottom.
Once you get the journal in hand, you'll notice it's a cheap, wrinkled paper.
