Make it so that you can buy higher tier seeds again for alchemy (Alessa, Sinka, Luminite, Soothing Reed Crimson Reed) For like 300-500 a bag. or something.
Make it so that when you gather plants in the wild, it treats it as if you are gathering them from a farming spot. Increasing your farming level and having a chance to give you seeds.
Seperate the bags for alchemy seeds. These RNG mystery bags are annyoing. As it's far easier for smiths to find what they want just by looking for it.

Your comparison to smiths?
They are forced to go to areas where the ores spawn that they use. Many people know these locations so it pushes content and plot. (I understand why this upsets some people.)
This should be no different for alchemists.

Maybe make it to where you have a chance to harvest multiple from each spot. It's a bit annoying to have to search the entire map for one of 10 soothing reed spots when soothing reed because a ncessary ingredients for potions as early as t4.
ALessa is also sometimes hard to see as its a green leaf against green backgrounds usually.
And don't get me started on how impossible it is to find Luminite.

This is why the alchemy eyes perk exists.
I do however think there is room for a potion that gives you a chance to harvest 2 when you pick up 1.
Call it Harvestbrew or something.
None of this is my call, however.

It costs 30 energy.
It’s common to see herbs on a green background as they are green, so I consider that an odd complaint to have.
The flashes should be red IMO, however.
Alchemy eyes should retain its T1 status.

Chance did not want to add Alessa, Sinka, Luminite, Soothing Reed, Crimson Reed seeds; he was thinking that people would stay by their plots, instead of going outside. But, high cost of such seeds negates this.
"Do you need a single luminite sample? You can purchase it (if someone sells that), or find that (if it is there). OR You can grow one, just get a bag of luminite seeds for 500 coins". Also, I think that these seeds may be dropped on harvesting only after reaching some overall progress in farming (5th level, for example).
Let's add more plants for farming:
1. Sunflower. Possible usages - a sunflower seeds pack, cooking oil recipe, and just a cute flower (may be used to craft a Sunflower Staff for druids and farmers)
2. Onion. Potatoes, carrots and onion - here is a recipe of simplest vegetable soup. Also, fried onions
3. Fruit trees - this may be harder to implement. a tree grows longer, but can be harvested several times with some timeout .
4. Peppers

I think Alchemy as a whole NEEDS to be looked at. There is serious inconsistencies and lackluster things in the tree for 15 rpp compared to that of Artificer. It just needs more added to it, and things revamped a bit. Like add more recipes or change stuff around so that stuff like Luminite doesn't have only ONE potion. Or Sinka which has 1 potion and 1 cooking item. Rope root has 2 potions. Crimson reed has 1. (I have an excel sheet that Im planning to do an effort post about this in the future)
Like there is so much stupid stuff in alchemy? Why is steel AND a scale needed to make a vit perm, when you need a water crystal and some fireflies for a mana one? Why does four leaf clover have no recipes? Idk alchemy just needs a look at.
Also Feathers have no use at all. When there are quiet a few of them spawning around the map.
Make agi perms take feathers again. Make Power perms take amber again.

Crimson reed has two "potions", one is hidden, T1. There may be more hiddens with it though

Analogies. Steel and scales make you robust as steel and tough as cave carps. Fireflies seem "magical", and water crystal gives potion a blue color.
But what is the most stupid thing - Tiller's joy, a liquid fertilizer, was designed as consumable. And it has such ingredients as earth crystal and sludge (these things don't seem healthy enough).
Levitation potion uses only fireflies and mushrooms, it gives you an agility bonus and reduces movement cost. I knew people before timeskip were addicted to levitation potion. But, if you add feather to it - a recipe will be more interesting
