An official proclamation of a funeral rite has been issued, honoring the late Zho, the Sable. The kinsfolk of those who perished during the apprehension of Sable are cordially invited to partake in and lament the occasion.

While the rest of Meranthe is invited to watch the proceedings.

A magnificent statue, commemorating the Vicarian, the Viceroy, is slated for unveiling on the said day.

Since the Curator's announcement, 

Viritas has been restless.

The servants of the City of Arts have been tirelessly working on a project,
as though driven to madness... like men possessed. 

A large statue, about twice the size of true life,
bearing the visage of the late Lord Vicarian has been erected.

Absolutely lifelike, down to the most minute detail.

An official statement from a fanatical leader of the project was made,

"Our Lady's Martyr is almost finished... 

there's just one capstone left to the project,
and Lady Akatsuki is going to crown it!

The Martyr of Mydaea...

...the greatest work of art you'll ever see...!"

From the base of the statue in the center of town,
a more ominous story is told.

The soil gushes with blood, groundwater turning into life's very essence.

A plan is leaked to the presses, and soon finds its way to the leaders of all nations.
For the Ceremony's sake,

Viritas' borders will be completely unguarded at the height of Autumn.

Every citizen, soldier, magi and nonmagi will be in attendance.

The perfect time to put an end to them once and for all...


it's obviously a trap... but how could they hope to defend themselves?
