With our Oldest of Hunted Foes living amongst them for support?

A singular month passed with the return of a month-gone galleon, before the coast and harbor of the Goldlight Order's main holding stirred to life, as vessels stocked supplies and loaded enlisted militants into their holds, to fulfill a long-awaited plan's unified declaration.
One that was followed by a public announcement from the High Chancellor, though its spread was done primarily through newspapers and mounted heralds, after a single speech one evening.

The flags flown were not solely of The Order, but The Republic of Paritas as a whole with an admixture in combination of Gloomlight and Goldlight's standards flying high upon mast and field standard.

The Republic marched to war.

To reclaim what it saw as its protected land, upon the southern seas.

From the desk of the Nameless King within the Isle.

 

Comes that of a message in form of writ and word directed towards the Republic Crusaders and publicized within the Kingdom and that of it's Allied Nations dubbed as the 'Hydra'. 

Such message sayeth in response to the declaration of a crusade against the Isle under the Circle.

 

The words of the Nameless King, Sthenno Ika'bil:

 

This island was born from the dreams of my friend, my brother.... Cryxarn.
I will stand to defend it—and my people.
But even if it falls, know this: your so-called crusade is nothing more than a desperate grasp at reliving your worn-out glory days.

Righteousness?

No.

It will be your downfall.

I have done nothing but conquer a dream—but after this, it shall become a stage for something far greater. 
Your people call me the head of a hydra... then let me rise.
 Let me breathe terror into your bones once more. I will carve fear into your souls as I did before.

Victory or failure—it matters little. 
Only in my death will you know peace. 
For the hydra you so feared, the monster you whispered of in your pathetic little minds... I will become it.

Come then. 
Strike your match. 
Join the kindling. 
Burn with me—until our last breath, until the heart gives out. 

Fight… because the age of the Republic is over.

The oppression. The schemes. The lies. 
The endless plotting—it all ends here.

An Aenite leading a crusade? Towards the southern seas? Where have we heard of such before?

 

No matter. Preparation for a siege is already underway within. The citizens of the Isle were advised to leave just before the carnage would begin. Hooded agents of the Nameless Circle, operating throughout the Isles and the Mainland, are being recalled to the Kingdom with the utmost haste. Soon enough, some civilian ships would be spotted evacuating the island.
 
The forces tasked with protecting the isle and its garrison; formed from the ragtag armies that once conquered it-- are now preparing to play on the defensive. Their ranks have been bolstered by a generation of the fortune natives who volunteered into the service of the Kingdom of Nilhirra.
 
Meanwhile, from the underground pits, swathes of lightly armed soldiers are seen. Their bodies bear artifacts of occultic exposure; barely cooked, as a chef might say.  However, the insignia they wear is not the standard symbol of the Nameless Circle. From high-ranking officials to common foot soldiers, they now bear a new mark within their armor and cloaks.

The Kingdom of Nilhirra prepares itself.
For what's left of the dream,
So let it be war.

The hearing of an invasion on the nameless circle

One that will not be stood for as finally the Fox of the nameless circle begins her howl into the night.

Many could feel the looming Dread as Sights of the ground pillaged- bones scattered yet all connecting towards the island of the Nameless circle
