By the Behest of His Grace, Prince Vandal Emeraldi, members of the Kingdom of Fortune's Navy, Civilian Government, Representatives of Antefinem and spectators of the country as a whole are asked to attend Court. It is long overdue for the Kingdom to stop the decay that has set in, to push back upon entropy, and to take pride in itself again.
Overseen and directed by Ex-Governor, now Viceroy Kelson Goldchester, the Court will bring back Unity and Direction to our nation. The same inaction that has led to our fall from grace shall NOT be allowed to be our extinction, for we are the Heirs to the Southern Seas.

"All hail the next Sovereign of Fortune." 
Words we didn't think we'd hear so soon...

It started with a spiteful fiery speech of bringing things back together, of wishes to retake their territory and be reunited. 
It turned into a rapid-fire succession.
The Prince and Viceroy both laid out their plans to reinvigorate the nation, their progress in creating new workshops for the Navy and people alike. The industry was rebuilt from the ground up once again as well as stockpiles being made for personnel. A proposal was made to Queen Ala. Allow for changes in leadership to be made drastic, letting Prince and Princess take charge in matters of Governance and Military respectively. Ala listened to the court's concerns and proposals, before coming up with a different solution. Handing over the reigns to her now-readied children as she steps back to a position not dissimilar to Stede and Saiya's guidance of the prior generation. Her last act before the succession was to swear in Belle Espero to be a Knight of Fortune and direct aide to Princess Emmeline.


Viceroy Kelson expresses his relief on the matter.

"It's with a heavy heart to know that such a change had to be forced by our circumstances, but I'm glad she saw reason in our words. Ala was always known for being the one woman we can always depend on to make the toughest of decisions when presented with a challenge, and come out of it calm. If it were anywhere on the Mainland, I could guarantee you that I would have just been shot for suggesting such a change...

It's up to her son to prove he's learned from his mother what it takes to lead, and for us to stay with him along the way.

Sovereign Vandal has begun to take over Governance of the southern country, situating himself and intent on surveying the future...
Time will tell if the Young Sovereign can truly make a change to the desperate situation his maritime homeland has come under, or to be washed away by the tides he was meant to rule over.
