A creeping illness has spread through a remote village. At first, it was dismissed, forgetfulness, slurred words, confusion. But now, entire families wander the fens, muttering incoherently. Livestock are born eyeless. Crops blacken on the vine. No one recalls when it started, and worse still, no one seems to recall who they’ve lost. A Knight has been tasked with amassing a small force of capable magi to investigate the situation and assess possible withcraft.
