...Is all that we remember of our first mentor.

The remnants of Xuefeng creak and crumble around us, sparing only our most advanced cultivators-ascendant.
They say that they leave for a more beloved place,
A volcano, where a dance of colour will plague the land,
But it knows only sorrow & despair.
The statues and impromptu graves scattered with volcanic ash say as much,
And whilst Dragons aplenty begin to roost,
Shadows obfuscate not only their intentions,




But that of their aggressors.
The memory malingers at the edge of your mind, a crime long since forgotten, but any exacts do not recall.
Only the will to power remained.
Only an unnatural calmness, an unbefitting serenity,

Where there is ironically no peace.

The word is like a hot iron to the tongue, demanding a space it does not deserve;
A world it does not deserve.
But you, whom have just awakened to a unique existence, a paltry sum of power,
Why have you come to this place where fortune and destiny are forged, so...

Unprepared?

So puny?
So simple?
All the Divinities are just as confused and perplexed as I.
