The Final Frontier was established as a pinnacle of science, a bastion of higher learning and experimentation. While the tree of Solais sat upon the cliff over top where the Proto Institute was housed, deeper horrors awaited underneath. Experimentation and scientific progress was par for the course, and while plenty of it spilled outwards into the public eye - such as Synthetics and the progress the scientists of the Proto Institute clawed towards, plenty more was kept away from the public eye.

And one was the tale of such a young mimic, foreign to the lands of Meranthe who had been ensnared.
