Some time had passed since Caethir's victory at a skirmish, even further along had been the siege in which Glimmer Lake was taken. 
Most recently, had come a funeral for Ser Halohalo. 
The King had seen enough, heard enough.
With the rising sun over iridescent waters came an official address.

"People of Caethir, and those who keep up with our affairs,

Though we intended on war with Aeitus after taking Glimmer Lake, though the fire was only fanned by the taking of Ser Halohalo's life, it is evident nothing will come from further retaliation but bids to ruin each other's homes. 

This has continued for a few years already, it is time to allow our people peace. There are bigger challenges ahead, for everyone in Meranthe. Now isn't the time to be distracted with fighting one another.

With that said, Ser Halohalo's venturing out to attack Uralai was not something I had requested, nor was the reckless act something condoned by Caethir. 


No one has orders to attack members of Aeitus. There will not be war for the foreseeable future, assuming both parties make an effort to communicate properly this time."
