Caravan of the North: A Pact in Motion

Spring,  ♓︎ IOS - 2168AC

There has long been talk of them - the peoples who dwell beyond the borders of Meranthe. Those called upon by Altan's Few and their descendants, and those who worship the spirits that inhabit the sands and the ruins of temples - hiding secrets that unveil humanity's most primal nature.

The desert doesn't shape, it doesn't create - it reveals who you truly are. There are those ambitious for fame, for power, for riches, and there are those who yearn to preserve and spread their beliefs, their wills, and their way of life.

Serenity Kingdom extends its hand and recruits from beyond the north - men and women anointed by the desires and longings of the northern dunes - those who captivated, tamed, and conquered the desert for what it is; not a father, not a mother - but a judge. Warriors at their core. And now, they walk south. Not in flight, nor for promise, but because the time has come to be present.

The northern tribes move - not as subjects, but as partners. Not to occupy, but to contribute. They come with their stories, their weapons, their rites, and their certainties, and they offer what they have carried for generations: strength, identity, and purpose.

The desert was their judge, when nothing else remained.
Now, they settle at the borders, where the Serenity Kingdom raises its banner, and where the sands still speak.

Together, they grow - with mutual respect, with alliance.
The north walks with the south.
And wherever they tread, the presence of the desert is felt.

Fall,  ♅ UNER - 2170AC

With the steady influx of immigrants from the nomadic tribes of the Silent Expanse to Meranthe (particularly in the Serenity Kingdom region) - the need arose to establish a proper settlement.
It became necessary to organize communal life through a structured system of governance, complete with its own culture, principles, and laws.

Tents were the first to go up, marking the beginning of a permanent settlement. Teams were tasked with excavating the nearby mountain cliffs, extracting vital resources to support the village's buildings. Wood, leather, ore, and food were gathered and distributed as needed.

Through this collective effort, the people came to identify themselves as

Akh-Turahl, "the tongue of the dunes".

This small community governs itself through the shared voice and opinions of its people.
