GRIEF IS A TERRIBLE THING

Time, gravity, and the solidity of space seemed altered. The wood of Solais was soft and warm beneath his body. His feet felt as if they touched a river that forever flowed, and his vision was blinded by a green light with no beginning or end. The sensation was akin to the embrace of a mother lost at the age of eleven. A dimming of his senses.
