Not all that live upon the isle-nation must be expressively devout or warriors. After all, administrative overhead becomes a necessity with a budding settlement! With commerce as one's primary focus, and a democratic system in place? A position such as this was entirely inevitable. Welcome to the administrative world of the common Antefinemite!

These individuals serve and protect the common man, and magi by extension. They patrol the island and are seldom tasked with patrolling the mainland to ensure Antefinem, her people, and her democracy are secured. Their primary role is to enforce the laws of Antefinem amongst her people and those who wander her land. It is not uncommon that these individuals may be put in charge of those on prisoner guard duty. Those who sit with the highest amount of support within this position are most prone to be promoted to the esteemed rank of Officer.

During a president's run, they may appoint new senators as they see fit, but they can not depose current senators unless they have broken a law, or split ties with the settlement entirely.

Quote:These individuals work directly in line with the President, referred to as Councilmen or 'Senators'. The number of Councilmen on the Senate is dependent on the number of voters, but it tends to always hold a maximum of 2 magi, in comparison to the countless nonmagus senators. They draft up bills based on voter or party interest and are often considered political leaders of the settlement. They are exempt from the requirements of Lobbyists but are prone to being influenced by those very Lobbyists. Despite their high esteem and power, they can not completely impact the entire settlement's livelihood on their own. After pushing a bill, it can become enforceable law once it has been approved by the President. It is not unheard of that some councilmen may act as advisors, or even stand-in diplomats for the settlement leader if the situation calls for it.

Description: Pay a commission to a local business to produce a product according to your specifications!

Description: Through your connections or financial power, you can ignore laws meant for the financially destitute.
