Some days after the destruction of the Serpent's Crown, a lone wanderer leaves its wreck.
You met her when she arrived in your town. The infamous Witchling of the Grand Guignol, Pneuma, of whom rumor had spread. Regarded with fear, her reputation preceded her; but instead of wreaking havoc, she only sought hospitality. Something she did during her stay with your humble village inspired you- whether it be fighting off a magical beast attack, sharing a small kindness, or holding a grand speech, you came to learn of her dream.
To build a Kingdom of freedom in a bid to rival the greatest Realms of Meranthe.

Eventually she left, and you followed on account of your prowess with magic, weak as it is. Despite that, she believes you hold potential, and offers a place within her dream, and practice with your chosen weapon. You soon come to learn how she has turned her back on witchhood like few others before her have. Not for the purpose of mingling with civilization, but for pursuing something else altogether- freedom.
With the promise of being uplifted from country bumpkin to shining knight.. how could you possibly refuse?

- ... are a 180rpl spawn-a-soldier slot, one of five notable magi accumulated on your monarch's travel through Meranthe.
- ... must be a swordsman or martial artist or some other flavor of melee fighter (a prerequisite).
- ... may spawn with a soulbound weapon, medic unlock or faith unlock, though the latter is extremely ill advised (but possibly interesting!).
- ... might look up to Pneuma, might seek to gain power from her, might secretly hate her- it's up to you, entirely.
- ... might have to turn a blind eye to conventionally evil magic such as Necromancy, Witchcraft or Riftmancy. Your monarch is no righteous do-gooder, nor heinous villain, but something else entirely.
- ... should expect resistance, and expect to have few friends while you build your kingdom.
- ... should preferably not be an alt character, as this is the start of a brand new faction!
