. . .
Not so much at the season's beginning, but neither on a date ever chosen in the past for similar festivities. As if chosen completely at random, following no true rhyme or reason. It is because this celebration does not mirror the grand nor small ones hosted in welcoming or celebration of season's turn. Never known, like most, the date or even exact year of birth. Oft acknowledged every year on a different month, on a different day, never quite static and also never memorable.

Whether late or early, in wait of none else, Sunsets over Moonlight makes preparations to host a rather small celebration for a momentous achievement in any mage's life, Faeborne especially. Cycle's turn on the world's scale just as important as personal. Their one-hundreth year of life, physical at least. The only year known in sheer confidence and ever recalled being 2072, the day eyes opened and memory lapsed.

Announced hesitantly. First in little flyers sure to go ignored appearing solely in the Goldenleaf Library. Yet the library assistants, excited in having parsed the Heir-Luminary's age, began an announcement campaign and planning on the royal's behalf:

"Come one, come all to the one-hundreth birthday of the esteemed Heir-Luminary Sunsets over Moonlight!!!"

Planned so far in advance, like in hopes it might go entirely forgotten in the minds of citizens and friendly allies alike. Alas, the royal courts caught wind and began drafting fancy invitations, bombarding the poor royal for the names and addresses of all of their friends, to the sad answer, circling in rumors around the capitol building as: "The Heir-Luminary has no friends?!" So it appeared in every mail box imaginable to their horror and embarrassment, delicate notations designed and printed with an unexpected level of love. Out of their control at this point, they're seen less frequently, likely hiding in a few of their best hiding places.

"Bring only the finest gifts!"

"The sweetest of treats!"

"The best, most tragic of novels!"

"The .. donutest of donuts! They really like donuts."

Royal Event Coordinator Julia, a long term professional in coordinating fundraisers, charity events, parties throughout higher societies of the esteemed capital city has produced an outline for the Heir-Luminary's one-hundreth birthday party. An additional piece of correspondence finds the mailboxes of those already in attendance to such a grand event.

To our honored guest,
We are ever-glad for your future attendance to the Heir-Luminary's celebration party.
Below, we have included an outline of events to come:

      I. Opening Remarks
 II. Entertainment:
                                  i. Scavenger Hunt (teams of 3)
                ii. Trivia (teams of 3)
           iii. Poetry Contest
III. Gift Opening
      IV. Closing Remarks

We have a remarkable dessert spread from Royal Pastry Chef Gideon and apologize for any allergies to chocolate, berries and dairy. Additionally, we are providing extra time for those who would prefer a head start for the poetry contest. The THEME is mixed, but poets may deter, but we do recommend adhering to:

- life changes
- reflection
- autumn
- familial
- past joys
- romance
- appreciation
- something that makes you happy

--as these are topics our esteemed Heir-Luminary typically approaches in their writing, but do not feel too pressured if still wishing to share your poetry on their special day. The winner of the poetry contest will win a voucher for a free copy of their upcoming composite novel of fictional short stories titled "With Nothing but Love,"

The party is still on course to proceed on the 16th day of Sae at 530p EST. We look forward to seeing you there and thank you for celebrating this momentous achievement in their life.

Sincerely, the Delphinan Royal Courts
