A call extended by song. Answered, though not quite by the daughter of Yama intended by the young Lord Kalione Meanderteau of Nereides. In Scylla's stead arrived a young and belligerent scion embittered by the distant memories of the mythic war waged between the powers of Land and Sea brought about by the rivalry of Yama and Inki. For all of enmity brazen hostilities would be closely averted, though the prospect of any audience with Scylla would not be so freely extended. A demonstration extolled, one by which hopefuls to traverse the abyssal depths to the domain in which Scylla has hidden since ancient times would need prove their luster in a trial amongst each other. A tournament by which a worthy six to accompany Lord Kalione on such a journey would be selected by combat's trial. So as well, whatever standards may be exacted by those tasked with hosting such a spectacle.

- As per the solitary mandate of the Anguill emissary, bouts will not be permitted to be fought to the death. 

- With this in mind, a genuine showcase of ability will ask combatants to engage their opponents until one is incapacitated. However graciously or zealously a thing left to the discretion of participants, so long as they might keep a reasonable restraint against the risk of a lethal blow. (Fights may be Aggressive or Dangerous, whichever way reflects participants' approach and intents towards their opponent!)

- In the months leading towards the appointed date, those interested may procure and submit not only a filled form detailing their name and accreditations, but a brief questionnaire probing for an elementary understanding of Sirenian history and their nature. Those found suitable to participate will be informed via missive.

- Whilst the opportunity to make envoy to a significant ancestor of Sirenian kind is intended to remain the foremost privilege to be awarded, the papers do not spare the detail that victors will be granted prizes in the form of exotic, magically rich scales.

- Occultists need not apply, nor any of even more aberrant natures.
