Following their debut with the play,  'Zenith & Nadir,' Grand Guignol has continued to spread its influence across the land- appearing good to some and bad to others. Their most striking performance followed in the wake of Lady Wraith's new champion, Morrigan Shadecrest, during a performance dubbed 'The Dreamlit Seal.' Though Grand Guignol mostly lingered in the shadows with only subtle appearances following their initial movements, the close of 2155 marked a surprisingly successful year.

As the calendar turns, so do the performers. Figures adorned with the symbols of Grand Guignol have been seen near the outskirts of known kingdoms, silently observing the towns below. Then, as abruptly as they appeared, the movements stopped. The sightings vanished, and soon unsettling reports emerged of missing citizens- both young and old. Each disappearance bore a single factor in common. A smiling skull, scrawled in blood.

Amist the feeling of what the future holds in store, Grand Guignol finally stepped into the spotlight. Citizens discovered cryptic missives posted throughout the known kingdoms, controlled like puppets with strings attached to their body, with eyes of crimson and intricate black patterns reminiscent of Tragedy. When these figures entered a crowd, they delivered their message with dramatics.

Quote:
"There have been many tales told throughout time.

Of a ferocious creature, running rampant, preying on the innocent while they helplessly watch as loved ones vanish- until that glimmer of salvation appears. And our next act? Our rendition of that timeless tale. We will provide you with a monster, and you will be the ones to slay it and save the innocent from their demise. Of course, you may wonder, wonder why should you play into our games? Why should you become a part of our performance?

It's simple. Should you choose to ignore our call, then the blood of the innocent will spill.

Now, with the stage set, and the next act awaiting, will you answer the call, or will the innocent die due to your inaction?"
DATE: TBD

Note:

We're still searching for a DM that can narrate and play an EC for this.
