Along the eastern plains bordering the Shadowlands, within an estate ever growing in activity and life, winged twins were born. Raised not only to be the next to carry the Light but also to live rich, fulfilling lives surrounded by a family that deeply cares for them. With deep roots to the Spirit Realm and the Goddess of Harmony, it is now up to the twins to walk the path laid down by their parents  — to bring a better future unto Meranthe.

   Youngest Royal Guard, butterfly turned bird, plants for brains. Many titles grace Cielia Meanderwing, but you would know her as just one.

   Having taken extended leave from her duties in Dal'Thala while your other mother ran around beating up bad guys, Cielia was the one to change your diapers, comfort you after night terrors, read you bedtime stories, teach you how to fly, and guide you to learn what it meant to be a Meanderbagel. She did her absolute best to give you the parents that she didn't have early in her life, drowning you with more than enough love for an entire family. Growing up, despite only occasionally seeing your other mother, you would not have been left wanting.
 
   Very rarely when she does leave the house to attend to her other duties, you would have followed right behind, or left in the care of one of your many, many relatives.
 
   She may have also left you with a strange love of Sheng novels and tea.

   A veteran swordswoman who has dedicated her life to serving Meranthe, now finds herself balancing the responsibilities of raising twins with her duties as a knight and captain of Gloomlight's Bastion. Renowned across the lands of the Republic and beyond, she has formed a long career that includes her service to the fallen city of Prospera and her training under multiple master swordsmen, leaving you with a new tale or two to entertain your duller days.

 

   Though she can often appear forgetful or lost in thought, you know her purpose lies in shaping your life into a paradise. Despite being the one that is mostly not around due to her work, you have always been her first priority, and a symbol of her undying love. Not wanting to create disappointments, she has taught you how to properly wield a sword from a very young age, even if you do not end up focusing on it. More importantly, she has been your guiding hand in understanding your natural attunement to Holy Magic. After all, she is a warrior for land and family, and she expects you to be the same even if you do not end up following her martial way of life.

  

   She may have left you with a strange fascination on fairy tales about knights and dragons.

Being the union between an Aerodyne and a Human:

• One of you has been born as a fully fledged Aerodyne, carrying the blessing of Koretheia with the opportunity to grow it even further through faithful devotion to the Goddess of Rebirth, Balance, and Harmony.
  
• The other is a winged Human. You have the developing features of an Aerodyne, smaller headwings and/or feathers around the face and head, but it is up to you if you will one day fully awaken to be an Aerodyne like your twin or remain as a proud, winged human.

• You can either carry on the Meander or Bargiel surname, it is up to you. Should you be a Meander, add an extra word of any kind as a suffix, perhaps you will be the first Meanderbagel!? The unchosen surname will become your middle name, unless you choose Meanderbagel, in which case you can forgo the middle name.
  
• Your hair is either blonde or purple, and your eyes are either blue or violet. However, there is a small chance that you may inherit a rare genetic phenomenon that causes your hair to turn white, pale blonde or pale purple by the age of 24.
  

 
   You have lived a sheltered life inside the Bargiel estate on the outskirts of the Republic's reach, and can only remember a handful of times when you travelled to cities either alongside your mother Cielia, or Nix herself. Either way, you still know of the plenty connections that your mothers have made along their life. From Cielia's side, you may have heard or talked to the Caewynn and the Aubreen, when your travels took you to Dal'Thala or Arcadia. While from Nix, you know of the Equisol, the Halbmond and the Talalt when you visited the cities of the Republic of Paritas. As a member of the Bastion, Nix taught you the tenets of Athelios but ultimately left the choice of your faith entirely to you, or to Cielia, although she still taught you that the wisdom of the Pantheon should not be ignored, but heeded. Meanwhile, Cielia drummed the faith of Nemea and Koretheia into your brains as well, if not for faith, then at least to be able to converse easier with those of her homeland.

 

What awaits you is a long life ahead, one full of people to call your comrades or friends, to bring a better tomorrow to the lands of Meranthe.
You are ultimately independent to any faction, but it is clear how Arcadia or Dal'Thala would welcome you due to your heritage.
