Within the realms of Delphina, upon the Isle of Nereides, a religious schism is beginning to brew between one, Sphrodite Riverlance, formerly esteemed Suladari, worshipper of Leaucothea and Wavesteerer & her Leaucothea inclined peers. This religious schism had been brewing long before she had been relieved of Command, and subsequently fled the realms of Delphina before her recent return, at the behest of the Duke Commander. 

This religious schism is formed on the basis that the Faeborne are bastardizing Sirenians into something more applicable to them, so much so, that Sirenians now wield the blessings of Nemea and are less Sirenian, and therefore less "pure". As a believer in Sirenian Supremacy, with a disdain for land walkers, Sphrodite has decided to tear herself from the influence of Leaucothea, and her champion entirely. Desiring to become "EVEN MORE SIRENIAN!" than her current state, and especially more-so than the Selkie-Faebornes of the Isle.


Her chosen method of action is to reinvigorate the worship of Yama, to provide sacrifices to lighten his burden, and to show that he has not been forgotten, even within Nereides. The formerly esteemed Wavesteerer embarks on a quest, using the skills and strategies she has learned over half a decade of a career within the most esteemed Naval Organization in Meranthe. 

She tracks a kabul of cultists dedicated to the deep one far offshore, secluded within the depths of grand seas. For a Selkie, this would be an impossible task given the curse of Leacuothea, however, Sphrodite was a little special. She is an Orca, a rare sea Selkie, which provided her the necessary lung capacity to hold her breath for long enough to undergo such a task, with extreme difficulty, nonetheless. The chance of drowning, or being unable to rise from the depths due to the weight of the air within her lungs, are extremely high. And were that to be the case, she would die an ironic death.

Sirenians who seek to assist her upon her quest are invited, so long as they are not Sirenian-Faeborne
