"Redemption by Flame"

[2153 A.C]
{The Blades of The Herald}
{The Judgement of The Four}
{The Will of The Dragons}

Since the dawn of creation, and the Dance of Color have the Dragons of The Divine Four stood against the ideals and the acts of what would come to be considered 'The Fel'. Demons, Witches, Necromancers, in essence, those that stand as antithesis to all that they created and all that they stand for alongside their kin. More importantly those deserving of righteous judgement by their hand. While those of The Divine may not directly impose their judgement upon the deserving, that duty falls to those who serve them. The righteous arbiters of their will and voice, the blades of their chosen Herald.  While before blades and staves were lifted in defense of a nation and the people therein, they now serve a grander purpose in service of the ideals and teachings of the faith of the Draconis Chromatica

While The Herald stands as the voice of the Divine Four's Will within Meranthe,
The Inquisitor shall be their fury that makes such manifest.

The creed which we live by. Four reminders of our purpose
I.
Strive For Perfection
Aim to be an example to those around you of how one should act and treat others. Do not allow yourself to fall prey to your vices  and allow them to hinder you. Do not allow fel influence to invade your mind. And do not allow yourself to be swayed from the path by dark powers and those with ill intent.

II.
Redeem The Repentant
Those who seek redemption should be able to find it if they truly wish to endure the trials that are required. With that said, do not allow yourself to be deceived, keep your head about you and trust the flame within your heart to guide you.

III.
Defend The Living
Whether or not their principles directly align with ours or not, those who cherish life and seek to stand against the Fel are at the very least deserving of defense in the face of greater evil. So long as they do not stand to harm our people or in service of Fel forces they can find aid, if so desired, against those who do.

IV.
Protect The Sanctity of Life
The Undead and Demonkind are those who stand as the antithesis to life and mortalkin. Their judgement is and always will be to be put to a final death. While demons as a collective [apart from one or two in particular] are not encountered as often anymore after the attempted Attrelyan invasion, the Undead and their necromancers are still a massive threat to life as a concept.

There are those who seek redemption, those who do not and then those who are simply undeserving. Each will bare the Judgement designated.
I.
Repentant
For those who practice Fel arts, that seek redemption by their own accord. Shall they be branded beneath the Inquisition's iron and conscripted to serve for as long as the sitting Inquisitor deem fit. Through work with the church their fel mark on the world shall be erased and they shall remain collared learning the ways of The Four until the time comes that their esoteric knowledge is sealed away through divine ritual or their souls are reclaimed if such is possible.

II.
Unrepentant
Those who practice Fel arts or who are of Fel origin that do not repent or seek cleansing shall be put to death.

III.
Enemies of The Church
Those who stand against the Church by formal declaration or by violent act are subject to judgement by the Herald and/or the Inquisitor.

IV.
Traitors
Those who once stood alongside us and have chosen the path of betrayal shall be captured and gravely injured if not outright killed, their redemption found in flames.

I.
Inquisitor
The one chosen by The Herald to command the Inquisition and those in service to the militant arm of the Church of the Draconis Chromatica.
II.
Left and Right Hand
Advisor and second in command roles within the Inquisition serving as council to the Inquisitor.
III.
Seeker
Those who have proved themselves as Daggers and serve within the Inquisition as researchers, clergy, healers and crafters. Seen on par in rank as Blades.
IV.
Blades
Those who have proved themselves as Daggers and serve as Paladins within the Inquisition. They combat the enemies of the church wherever they may arise. Seen on par with Seekers.
V.
Daggers
Recruits who have proven themselves capable soldiers. They have undergone a year of service and training and are set to be further honed into either a Blade or a Seeker.
VI.
Recruits
Those fresh to the Inquisition. They have less then a year of time within the Inquisition and are still undergoing training. They are placed under the tutelage of either a Blade or a Seeker.

Conscripts
Those who seek redemption. You will serve until your worth is proven.
