Public Gala Ritual - Beyond the Veil

In the darkness of the northern expanse, lanterns begin to rise; like starlit echoes returning to the cosmos above.
Those in Nightview have known it for quite some time, those of the Western chapter of the Galan faith as well:

A call to Gala was soon to occur from the Radiants of her faith

"Oh, my dear brother- it has been far too long already.

Over a century I have lived, but the last I saw you seems far longer. 

With you, many more might return- but today... today, we bring you home.

You may not return in the form you left in, but we can remedy that."

Word passed through the grapevine to those that knew Regalus, asking them to come to Nightview and share memories of him.
To bring recollections of his personality, his heart, his choices and ideals to call out to his spirit beyond the Veil.
Though the choice to perform this rite is rather... worldly for a Galan faithful,
within lies a reason to borrow his spirit from the Spirit Realms and return it to the realm of the living.

The reason?
That will be known at the ritual.

A call to Gala was made, an offering of faith and reason to bring back Regalus' spirit was offered.
Memories and proof of his capabilities as a hard-working man, his aim to better the world and lessen the darkness that crept upon it,
to bring the light of his spirit back to the realm that needed more of it-

Gala deemed the reason worthy, granting the people of the Northern Expanse, still licking its wounds from the time when he was lost, a light of hope and joy.

This was not merely a return of a member of the community,
this was the return of a great man of the Expanse.
