Beacons Amidst An Umbral Forest

Rumors circulate and gestate like maggots.  Building fear about what lies within these shadowed lands.  Generating a hatred for everything connected to it.

Yet the land suffers in its hatred.  Stewing in agony and melancholy like anyone else who was tossed to the wayside.

Now, let us shine a light upon its form with respect.  Not to cleanse what it has created, but to understand in hopes of soothing the land without destroying it.

Attendees: Nightingale and a small 4-6 group of whoever is interested (already got like three people interested, but would have to ask again if they could attend depending on the date.)

Rewards: Deep Shadowlands Specific Flora/Fauna specimens (stuff like bugs and plants, nothing crazy or above Grade C or D really.)  Most importantly, lore about the ecology of the Shadowlands itself (I don't wish to tread on Raffile's own event in the works).

Essentially, what I wish to do is a preliminary expeditionary event to get lore about the deeper parts of the Shadowlands, and the Shadowlands itself.  Taking note of things which may be of interest due to potential for further understanding, or danger if left untouched.

Eventually I do wish to focus any future events into the Shadowlands on Leylines to identify the epicenter of damage to slowly start soothing it and allowing the land to heal from the demonic incursions which scarred it so.  Hopefully into a cooler form as well.  I like the purple so it'd pain me to make it just normal...

In doing so, opening new schools of thought in how Occult and Nature magic can intertwine, and giving people who want to have shadow druid theming with their characters the chance to do so.
