Mortalism, an invention of the Late, and Vile Shiri Shi Shigenobu in the time period of 2137AC to 2142AC, particularly it focuses upon the plight of those devoid of divinity, mortalism is not only speaking to a creature's lifespan, but its position in the order of life, and the lifestream.
The original texts intended to define Mortalist philosophy and jurisprudence are lost to time, or at the very least in the possession of those who may desire for them never to be revealed.
Nonetheless, with a mere fraction of the wisdom imparted upon this world, scholars and would-be followers of this esoteric religion have managed to compile core concepts, as well as different thoughts, and interpretations of Shiri Shi Shigenobu's vision for this world, however, one clear and concise copy which has been doctored still persists to this day.
Shiri Shi Shigenobu's mortalist disposition had been inspired by three figures within their life, the scribes made sure to preserve these inspiratons.
Lavenza Malibu, a child who pursued necromancy, signed a contract to never perform it again, but was ultimately executed by the Lumin King.
Cleade, a man who give it all for his god, but in the end had been abandoned by those around him, only to perish after having been saved from his captors. A prime example of why this world is not just in the False God's eyes.
Grey Aundeoth, a shining example that redemption works.

Justice:
"Justice pertains to the correction of injustice, or proliferation of righteous ideals in the vision of the God in question, which the mortal worships. Within this context, justice is utilitarian. It endeavors to seek the benefit of the majority, rather than the individual, even at the expense of the individual. Justice sacrifices itself for the collective benefit of society and others. To uphold the moral order, and trust in your fellow mortal to do right by you.

To uphold the moral order, and trust in your fellow mortal to do right by you.
No matter the price, justice must be delivered. Be that, sacrificing one's self to save a comrade who is deserving of such, due to their past merits, or impact on the individual in question, or simply ensuring all aspects of an individual's unique situation are considered.
After all, not all witches become witches with the expressed intent of doing and proliferating evil. Many, are tricked, forced, or thrust into such a position where often, the true consequences of their actions are not considered by themself or are ultimately lesser than the immediate peril they face by neglecting to agree to such a vile deed. In the case of undead, they do not have a choice in the matter.
When you are given a second chance at life by a practitioner of the dark arts who portrays herself to be on the level of a god who can grant and take life, most spirits will accept their new fate. Why is it their fault? Is it not the fault of the being who chose to violate the lifestream for its own benefit? Redemption is the only answer to this equation for the undead spirit in question.
As such, true justice acknowledges this. Justice remains a bastion of hope within our world, for the underprivileged, for those born to gods, for the common folk, for the noble folk, for those who are hated, for those who are loved, for those who are not known, for the unaffiliated and uninitiated who can't seem to catch a break from the woes of this world.
All mortal beings are entitled to justice, regardless of if they are the benefactor of such and victim to a wrong, or the perpetrator and accomplice of such vile intent. Justice remains a mortal right all individuals are entitled to, regardless of creed, and that is the mortal blessing of conscience.
I think then the people of this world should neglect to engage in senseless wars, executions, and killings of those who serve only the environment they were thrust into.
The only difference between an Atrellyan child, and a child of Meranthe is the fact that one was born within Atrellya and as such socialized to believe in the things that they do. Suppose we choose to believe we can selectively give, or take the right to justice from mortal beings and souls.
In that case, we are gods ourselves, and we have failed to understand the true nature of the mortal disposition, how prone it is to error, manipulation, and even death."
Rule of Law (Existing texts):
The Rule of Law: The Rule of Law is a concept where-in strict adherence to the law is followed. For this purpose, laws cannot be vague. Laws cannot be deemed as unjust by that society, and laws cannot move too fast for that society to contain.
To achieve these means, there are two bodies that must be created. Within the Macro there must be a collection of leaders within that particular religion, or jurisdiction where laws are considered, questioned, and levied upon the masses
Rule of Law (Interpretation):
The Rule of Law pertains to a way of life in which strict adherence to the law is followed, this means laws cannot be forced upon a society without a form of citizen representation, the remedy to this circumstance is to create organs of government, or religion to debate, question, and scrutinize laws which have been created. In addition, The Rule of Law is made to protect society from itself, every man should be held to the same laws as another, and the rule of law is applied unequivocally, to all individuals, including the rulers of any given nation.

Equity(Existing Texts):
Equity: The reason why this is necessary is because, people are prone to error.
If the Micro or Macro makes a mistake in accusing and imprisoning you for being a witch, or otherwise, you should be able to seek suitable redress for having your freedom deprived for no just or reasonable cause. In that same breath, every person should be judged fairly before a death sentence is levied upon them.
Taking a life without having judged the facts of that particular circumstance is not fair in the slightest, and it is one of the biggest flaws of our world
Equity(Interpretation):
If the city, or state makes a mistake in accusing and, or imprisoning you for being a witch or otherwise, and you have proven this not to be the case, you must be granted suitable redress for the deprivation of your personal liberties, privacy, and dignity. In that same regard, every person should be judged fairly before one is slain, senseless killing without the consideration of that particular circumstance is inherently vile, and it is a sin paramount to engaging with the fel.

Civil Discourse (Existing Texts):
This is because leaders wield a tremendous amount of power over the lives of citizens.
A leader can order your execution for any reason, and it will likely be enforced as many will not willingly go against their leader unless prompted to by someone who they believe can ensure their safety.
This is why leaders must be criticized, should you desire to wield such power you should also desire to be held to the standard that is necessary for wielding that power to the benefit of civilization.
Civil Discourse(Interpretation):
Debate, and civil discourse is the highest expression of free will, humans are often poised within a position and unsure if they are truly acting in their own free will. At the behest of man, at the behest of gods if you are a nephilim, at the behest of love, agony, guilt, shame, and even criminality. To remedy this hurtful flaw within the human disposition, Mortalists are encouraged to debate:
Why do you feel guilt?
Why do you feel shame?
What causes your agony?
Why do you live a life of crime?
Is it truly love?
And even more-so, they are asked to ask questions of their leaders, no judgment which serves in detriment to groups within society must go uncriticized.

The False God, The Prophet, and the Angel
Mortalists assume three perspectives centered around the belief of who Shiri Shi Shigenobu might have actually been. They were a Faeborne at birth, however he died a regular human. Within this perspective, observing the publicly available aspects of their life, and what they advocated for, as well as the tremendous amount of suffering they had endured, three distinct perspectives are derived by the followers of Mortalism:
The False God
For the ideals bestowed upon this world were so grand, different and unique in their application, Shiri Shi Shigenobu is the Goddess of Justice, Law, and Governance, however this is a false premise, Shiri Shi Shigenobu was not literally a goddess at the time of his death, therefore, in death, she would be bestowed the title of "False God of Justice, Laws, and Governance". She was a being to be revered, respected, and never spoken in vain. Mortalists who proclaim Shiri Shi Shigenobu to be the False God of Justice, Laws, and Governance, are often extremists. Their beliefs are distinct from, and often reject, the Pantheon entirely.
The Prophet
Shiri Shi Shigenobu contributed beliefs that were visionary by conception, leaders within Meranthe had not applied, nor extensively adopted the framework that existed which, could lead to a circumstance where they vision for this world was exacted. In that sense, they were the catalyst, and prophet of a different tomorrow, a future where justice prevails and injustice is remedied. In this context, Shiri would be the first Prophet of Justice, Law, and Governance
This is a far more reasonable standpoint, it acknowledges that not only was Shiri Shi Shigenobu a human, but a very flawed person who drove, and planted the seeds to their own downfall, simply because they were unwilling to endure tyrants any further. Mortalists who believe Shiri had been a Prophet may be outright atheist, or reject the pantheon as a concept.
In fact, they may argue the remedy to humanity's problems is mortalism, the adoption of robust laws, remedies, and civic engagement, rather than any vague religious belief the Pantheon and their worshippers may follow.
The Angel
By far the most fantastical, some argue perhaps Shiri Shi Shigenobu had been a soul on its final journey to become an angel, such failure, sufferage, and injustice was ultimately endured as a means of showing the being of Shiri Shi Shigenobu what it means to truly suffer, and live in an unjust world. The believers of this 'myth' are typically friendly with the Pantheon, this belief encourages idealism, and optimism, rather than the grim realities of the two other forms of worship presented.

Mortalist approaches
Aggressive Mortalism, aggressive mortalism advocates for the divorce of humanity from the Pantheon and gods not privy to the mortal experience of life. This means aggressive mortalists will often act in opposition to the Pantheon itself, not necessarily out of an inherent interest to aid and abet the fel, but an inherent desire to rid humanity of the highest form of tyranny, divinity itself. However, a wise aggressive moralist would know, aiding and abeting the fel in their ambitions would never please their False God.
Redemptionist Mortalism, redemptionist mortalism pertains to the redeeming of all souls who desire such, no matter how vile, or damned, provided there is a desire to change, it would be granted, respected, and encouraged. These mortalists may find alot in common with Koretheia's worshippers, however redemptionists offer only one chance at redemption, failure to make good on the offer bestowed will not be met with open arms, instead, the party in question may be slain if such is possible.
Orthodox Mortalism, Orthodox Mortalism follow the original texts unquestioningly, particularly the chapter of Justice, orthodox mortalism embodies those that seek a just world, but that does not mean they are inherently lawful. If the laws are unjust, an Orthodox Mortalist will call question to them with great vigor. Beyond such, Orthodox Mortalists focus espescially on standing up for what is 'right'. What that may be is dependent on the individual, however more generally matters of the 'fel' can never be considered right, as their False God (or Prophet) never once turned to such means to prove their point.
The Mirrors:
The mirrors are inversions of the False God's aspects, Law becomes Anarchy, Justice becomes Injustice, and Governance becomes Powerlessness.
Anarchy: To inflict change a state of anarchy must be endured, when the society is too damned a revolt is necessary, the invalid and vile rule of law must be thrown out, leaders of old executed and replaced with those more suited to the ideals of the time. Anarchy is necessary, and the False God was often confused with an Anarchist.
Injustice: For there will always be injustice within this world, but for the vile and damned who cannot be redeemed, who do not seek redemption, who seek to hurt others, or serve their selfish aims to the detriment on non-fel individuals, injustice is the only cure for their saddened existence, to suffer the horrors of humanity just as others had suffered by their hand.
Powerlessness: To have the strength of governance means the power to control, and influence is paramount. To understand what governance means, one must submit themself to be powerless, at the whims of others, so they may better understand how humanity truly functions when it has absolute authority over another.

Tributes:
All worshipers of Mortalism pay tribute to the False God (or Prophet) of Justice, Law, and Governance. This can be done in many ways, most common is the sacrificing of faith to the False God, this can be done through extensive rituals where, the faith is directed to the deceased Shiri Shi Shigenobu. What may seem like a senseless gesture, may have consequences, or mean nothing at all.
Nonetheless, that faith will be received by 'something'.
Prophecies:
The False God's reckoning,
The tale of the False God's reckoning seems to be some sort of folklore or myth created by those who observed the life of Shiri Shi Shigenobu, the tale goes as follows,
"For they will return when the time is nigh,
Anew, for what was loss can never be regained,
And when they return to this world,
A parade of injustice will insue."
A just society,
The tale of a just society pertains to optimist ideals from the perspective of Mortalist Jurisprudence, the tale goes,
"There will be a society, the first of its kind, just, righteous, and extravagant.
A city where no man is held above another due to nobility.
A city where all men, and women are respected equally.
A city where all religions can find peace, rather than war.
A city that redeems its enemies, rather than slaying them."
Sins:
Hubris - Exccessive confidence on one's abilities ultimately leads to a swift downfall.
Arrogance - The most defining factor of the false god, a trait that ultimately led to their very own demise.

The Cult of the False God
Mortalism as of the year 2145AC is a fringe cult, it is not a unified structure and defers to religious authority on matters of interpretating new incidents and dilemas of its members:
The High Priest/Priestess of Justice & Redemption - Determines, assisted by a jury of the other Priests, and Priestess if a particular circumstance warrants justice, or redemption.
The High Priest/Priestess of Law - Determines the humanity of a law, should a mortal be expected to obey it?
The High Priest/Priestess of Equity - Determines if circumstances warrant equity, and suitable redress
The High Priest/Priestess of Discourse - Determines if a discussion stirs too far into aiding and abetting the Fel, if it has that discussion will be terminated from the religion's discourse.
Gender neutral terminology - The High Adjuicator of (Justice/Law/Equity/Discourse)
