Life: The Greatest Means to Humble a Dragon

Years, it has been years since I had first touched down on the Continent, and since I have found myself colored by the culture that lingers in this land.

Back then, I was wild and ruthless, throwing much of my clan's teachings to the wind in place of further growth and strength—anything done in the name of becoming an ever-better weapon.

 

The many people I have robbed, the many more that I have maimed in the name of strength. In the name of pride as a Drakanite, I want to prove myself to be a capable warrior no matter what it takes. I assumed nothing would ever budge such, that my own mind would ever been pushed towards the direction of being a peerless weapon, an unmatched font of strength.

But....life does not make such so simple.

I'll keep challenging you until I win!

We must continue forward, we must be better than others look at us.

With each passing year, I found much of my old life passing away and another being born anew.

I know you have your reasons, but stop bothering the retainers.

My initial goal slowly started to grow clouded, acts I normally did for the sake of growth changed. The way I held myself slowly changed....and I thought that I would never find myself feel pain at the loss of another.

But such as fate is kind

Time continues on, my sins and mistakes ever stick to my body, and the calls of those fallen tempt me to give up. But that is not the way of a Drakanite, for a dragon is to stand tall, they are to stand strong. They are to endure....and despite all that has been lost--

I'll always look to make you proud, so just you wait!

There is more I must endure, for they are worth it.
