Welcome to the DM page of
AstroClouds
Event Preferences: I love lighthearted themes. I also don't mind events that could be lore heavy, or just some sense of adventure! I also enjoy implimenting new pieces of lore to an event to get approved, for the sake of dev for oneself and future characters. I don't mind basic events, like family adventures, or something! Depending on what you'd like, I can do my best to run it if my schedule is cleared up/allows.
Other Notes: I'm a novice to running events. As of 10/2, I don't have much experience in DMing, so please bear with me.
Are you currently running events, and if so, are you considering player requested events?: Yes, and yes.

Character: Kindle Sandsker
Which Event: Roots of the Rabbits
Responsiveness: 10/10
While it was a long event it was on the event attendees over the hoster, the responses came out quick, and we weren't waiting longer than 5 minutes for most posts.
Balance: 9/10
For the most part balance was solid, the EC was super powered because of how much we avoided fighting it but some of the 'quick time events' were a bit underperforming, and should've been bumped up a bit to slightly more difficulty.
Storytelling: 10/10
This is where everything shines brightly, in a unfamiliar setting from e4, a group of adventurers uncover forgotten and new lore to the game. So much effort was put into this, pages upon pages of new lore brought out. The story in the event itself was swell, uncovering tidbits of what had happened and learning of their own heritage through the puzzles they had needed to solve whilst demonic spiders gave chase only to be foiled over and over again until a climatic conclusion! This event has done wonderful in fulfilling the main objective.
Fairness: 10/10
Everything was fair for what it was worth, because we avoided fighting the EC until the very end, they were naturally stronger than them being weakened. The rewards outside of the main objective were fair , and should bring many colourful changes to the characters who were involved!
Overall: A great DM for their first private event, showing they will go above and beyond to achieve a satisfying experience for everyone.

It was excellent ! There was time given for everyone, and the writing response was less than 10 minutes. We had a lot of stops for narrations to enjoy the reading, and we were given plenty of time to respond all together.
Balance: 9/10
The EC fight was good ! It hit hard, but it was possible to avoid. There have been cases of earth quakes and occult AOE being stacked altough, which made huge burst of damage at some point.
I sadly couldn't fight in the finale because it was 7 AM and I fell asleep mid event with how late it was, so I couldn't tell how it went !
Storytelling: 10/10
I was eating popcorn the whole time from all the anticipation. Even if I have helped contributing in the Lapine lore, I was not aware of Astro's additions and she made a good scenario of this event to connect with it. All the breadcrumbs to lead us into clues, progressively escalating to the big reveal, was amazing ! Same with the items we have found related to the event. It made also a good connection to today's events.
Fairness: 10/10
Every action was accounted and with them their consequences ! The rolls were decent and reasonable. It felt like a statless tabletop RPG, and she did a wonderfull job as a DM !
Overall: For a first time DM in E4, she did super well with no mistakes at all. No hiccups in the commands or in the EC battles. And she made a wonderfull story for us, in which I had a wonderfull time with it, even if it lasted all the way to the morning.
In fact, that the event lasted so long (11 hours) without me noticing the time skipping, may be a good tell at how much I liked it.

Character: Iane Ioko
Which Event: Roots of the Rabbits
Responsiveness: 10/10
Responses were quick and descript, well reacted to what the characters were doing as well, very little times where I had to ask anything to understand them
Balance: 9/10
With the events leading up to the fight it was pretty fairly balanced, a lot of us went down most rounds and we barely squeaked out the victory, it felt nice not having it be a complete wash but also not be super easy, -1 for flood use though.
Storytelling: 10/10
The storytelling was great, how everything of the area tied into the past and present of a location that I personally am quite fond of and remained respectful of it was great. everything flowed together nicely and it was fun to interact with and have it interact with us.
Fairness: 9/10
There was only one bit where I feel the event could have been skewed a bit more against us, which was realized immediately, given the baseline of our rolls but other than that, I feel the event and it's fairness was as to be expected, none of the fights or puzzles felt too difficult or impossible and they played a lot towards our chars attributes as long as we realized that they were doing that.
Overall:
I think the event was great, everything was wrapped up in a neat and enjoyable bundle and it was fun regardless of how long it lasted.

Character: Meri Emeraldi
Which Event: Roots of the Rabbits
Responsiveness
Never had to wait for long for the narrates to come out. Individual roleplays were always taken into account and allowed for some unique interactions throughout.
Balance
The only complaint I have about balance is that in one of the EC fights, with certain spells used together it felt impossible at times to avoid an overwhelming amount of damage. There were so many aoes from both parties that at times it was visually overwhelming. Otherwise, the fights were fun and challenging. A good mix, did a good job here.
Storytelling
Narratively one of the best paced and written events I've had the pleasure of attending. It was a very long event, stretching over 10 hours in length, and even when I wasn't posting myself the narrates and interactions between the players kept my attention. It was lore heavy and intriguing the entire time with high stakes if we failed.
Fairness
Not much to say here. Good dm, and everything was fair.
Overall
Astro is an excellent DM capable of delivering a good story. For a first outing, a better impression couldn't have been made.
Note: This came really late, but I finally remembered to do it.
