From within the depths of the realm in twilight, from the sands within the realm of flames, does an aged giant appear. His eyes bore witness to Ragnarok itself, to the shattering of New Dexia, and the razing of Redrocks. Time had seemingly passed him by, but his will would not be forgotten.

"My name is Ventirion Calafax. Long have I resided within the realm of fire, my impact upon this world having ended.

Or so I thought.

What use is strength if one is idle? What good are ideals if one does not act upon them?

What purpose is there in life, if one is not prepared to die?

Ventirion Calafax emerges from within the depths of the nested realms of Talguth, announcing his will to the world.

"Long ago the spirits of the sands saw fit to bless me with their power, it is my wish that they may yet hear my plea once more, and grant me strength.

It is my will to become an avatar of a god long forgotten by these lands. To invite the great spirit of the dunedrake, Tzernobog, into myself, that I may yet again stand in defense of all that I hold dear, though it will doubtless cost my life.
