Gossip passes around, and speculation abounds broaching concern over a recent skirmish that had unfolded in the wilderness, wherein an Atrellyan captive had been allegedly stolen by an individual bearing the Dragon's Nest insignia, and an infamous gilded spear diseased with wisps of Nyctorre. The Drakanite is said to have wrested Asenahime, alternatively referred to as Onmyoji, from the hands of Serenity personnel in what was a violent clash of magics.

Not long after, a continent-wide declaration is issued out, reaching even the ears of the Atrellyan armies who are presently erecting encampments at the Citadel's charred, demolished remains.

"Fear not, my beloved kin. Our great nation's survival is all but guaranteed, for I've arranged the necessary sacrifice to ensure it so."

And thus it appears that Tharn Dawnseeker sought to entreat the Divine Dragons through the offering of a scapegoat.
