News for Mementos

The Mementos have finished settling in their new church, as founded by their Lord Shiva, the Aspect of Vdali. Since then, there have been a myriad of individuals which have flocked to speak and seek the wisdom of the Mementos. Their first sermon and communion a resounding success, despite the assault launched by Diallos Equisol, a dissenter, in the midst of its sermon. The ideals of the Mementos were cemented, and spread properly.

Since then, two Keepers have been ascended to become Wielders of the End's Eye. Amulets of power, and similarly, the only ones allowed to induct new Keepers and Death Knights into the mementos. These Keepers, in charge of recruitment, are known as The Veiled Eclipse, and The Disaster Hailstorm. Several being inducted into both ranks of Keepers and Death Knights, having undertaken their oaths and masks to join Vdali's and Mortyl's conjoined flock.

There are rumors of the Death Knight's weapons beginning to evolve, having been ordained by the Keepers of the Faith to grant them strength to fight against the forces that would harass and disrupt the church's order. Despite several Atrellyan assaults, the Death Knights have fully endured and repelled every single one of these, included the Ascended and Demonic forces that would invade their sacred shrine. Some of these include knights known as The Black March, Moloch, Iaxel the Shadow, The Challenger, The Adjudicator, and Fiacre. Their service is exemplary to their dedicated cause.

Recruitment for Mementos

The Mementos of Mortyl are recruiting, always accepting new members into their flock. However, after the initial wave of influence has settled, it has been decided that joining the Mementos would require a bit more tact to be employed, as to avoid ignorance and uneducated presences throughout Meranthe. Anyone wishing to join the Mementos, may approach any wielder of the End's Eye, which will then convert whoever is interested to their faith.

However, joining either the Death Knight Cohorts or the Keeper's Scholars must require a basic understanding of the Mementos' Mission Statement, the basics faith's lorekeeping, and a good comprehension over the magics they employ. For this reason, from now on, the wielder's of the End's Eye when approached will direct any new members to shadow mementos who share the same 'power' within the Mementos of Mortyl that they wish to join, through squirehood.

Exceptions may yet be made to those with great understanding of the Mementos of Mortyl.
