The Royal Navy was founded in the year 2132 by Princess Meri Emeraldi following the dissolution of the Maritime Knight of Fortune. Its purpose is to function as the primary military force of the Kingdom. The Navy was formed under the promise of providing a more cohesive and uniform military to the island nation with a more distinct and profound display of professionalism required of its Marines. With stronger roots to the island's culture and seafaring ways, the Navy is a direct extension of the Crown intent on producing only the finest of sailors and soldiers.

New reforms and regulations came with the changes and rebranding of the Kingdom's military.
- As an extension of the Crown itself, the Royalty of Fortune does hold some sway in the Navy. They may give orders, but the Admiral and Sovereign always has the last say.
- Those under the age of sixteen are not eligible for promotion to Marine, but may serve as a Cadet in their early years with a minimum age of thirteen required to start training.
- A higher standard is set for the competency of the Marines. Those not proven fit will not be sent to battle. Mandatory testing is required for promotion and outsiders such as mercenaries are subjected to the same standards. Training programs are put into place to assist Cadets who are not yet ready.
- Upon promotion to Marine, a Cadet is taken to the shore to swear an oath to the Crown and the Sea.

Vice Admiral - Second in Command. In the absence of the Admiral, they may make decisions on their behalf and often work with the Admiral on the decisions that effect the Navy and Kingdom as a whole.
Captain - A Captain of the Navy is tasked with watching over the Cadets and Marines. Not only are they given the responsibility of overseeing their peers, but also have a duty to act as a quartermaster.
-
Marine - Marines are the backbone of the Royal Navy and serve as the Kingdom's primary military force. It is the standard rank that most soldiers will fall into. Disciplined and loyal, their duty is to defend the Kingdom and act as enforcers of the laws set by the Crown.
-
Cadet - The lowest rank of the Royal Navy and one mostly suited for young and aspiring sailors or those still becoming acclimated. It is a trial phase before becoming a full-fledged member of the Navy. Responsibilities of a Cadet may be miniscule and primarily focused around training and learning how to use their equipment.
