Abandonment. A principle of Caius, oft held as a cautionary tale. Never leave the things which matter most to you, do not discard them in vain. And yet, in life, there are things which aught be abandoned after all. Paths that must be stepped off of, burdens that must be shed, bonds that must be broken.

By the grace of the Once-Dead Garret Richter, First and Last, Grey was allowed to live. Carrying the sin of necromancy, he was spared by gold and gloom alike, an action which brought shame and scorn from other nations. Bound in tyrium, and bade to make his sins right. In spite of everything, he found love, friends, and life enduring. Welcomed into the arms of the Kingdom of Fortune, to serve as their head medic, the now-captain held the love of his life, Junnodem Aundeoth, in his arms today, and let go of the darkest of arts.
