Some might call it silly, the idea of a Maid becoming a recognized threat in Esshar, but with the apparent betrayal of Sapphire Ashfall and the emergence of her new persona, Ruby Cinderfall, it's slowly but surely becoming a stark reality that the good people of the world shall have to face. Just what could have driven such a devout woman, a Krausite Priestess, sworn to hunt and destroy Demons, to serve them in such a peculiar fashion?

No matter. She'd MAID her debut.

As Osrona's forces marched upon the Moonlight Tower, she'd defended it, cutting down innumerable soldiers, and even wounding a certain Andromeda of the Grimmore family. Many tell of the joyous smile she wore upon her face as she did so. She appears to be a willing participant, and was reportedly seen to stand side by side with the Demon Queen Veles.

An upside-Down Symbol of Kraus is found, drawn in human blood upon the doors of the Celestial Church.

Reports tell of the Demon Maid having launched an attack on the church. Gravestones are broken. Windows, shattered. Damage is intentional, and the targeting of the Church sends a CLEAR MESSAGE.

Sapphire Ashfall is no more. There is only Ruby now.

A man was confirmed to be kidnapped from the Church, dragged to whatever unholy fate awaited him.

A BOLD ASSAULT!

The Demon Maid makes another appearance in Osrona, the West Gate suffering casualties at her hands. Four guardsmen were killed by the young woman, and another five were left in critical condition. Witnesses report that it took the combined efforts of Andrew Mercia and Sarasha Fenrir to fend her off, both infamously powerful and talented Magi. The former, Andrew, was defeated by the Maid according to reports, before Sarasha could wound the woman, forcing her back to the Helspawn that she now fought alongside.

Just how many atrocities will she manage to commit?

The Reaping Continues

The bloodthirst of Ruby Cinderfall knows no end, as she continues to be unleashed upon the world. Whispers escape the Moonlight Tower that the Maid has been fully recognized by the Queen Veles. It is told that she defeated and captured Atlas Daromir, enslaving the man to her personal use.

It is also said that she performed an execution. Skyul Sork was beheaded, for refusal to serve the Queen.

The Demon Maid continues lashing out against the people of Esshar. It is becoming more and more clear that Ruby intends to destroy everything that Sapphire held dear.

AN EXECUTION

The Demon Maid was finally caught by the forces of Osrona. After interrogation, it was revealed to the world that Brain Parasites and a series of powerful hexes had been used to control the former Priestess of Kraus. It has been warned that this could be inflicted upon anyone, that even the most devout servants of Light could be turned into a puppet at the hands of Osrona's enemies.

Sapphire Ashfall was executed in summer of the year 1681 for numerous crimes against Osrona. Her execution however, left a bitter taste in the mouths of many, as the woman herself may have been innocent of the crimes. Even after she was cleansed of the parasites and occult, she was offered no chance at redemption. How will the justice system handle these things in the future? Will they continue to execute those whom had no control over their actions, even former warriors who fought alongside the Order?

Sapphire Ashfall, before her death, is said to have donated a large sum of money towards the benefits of families that 'Ruby Cinderfall' harmed. She was buried at the Church with full honors, under her original name.
