Queen's Gambit (Deathwind Fleet vs Fortune)

The presence of the Deathwind Fleet only grew after their failed attempt at pillaging the shores of The Traverse, although the Fleet would state otherwise after earning hundreds of thousands of coins from the aftermath. Vessels adorned with their flag sailed throughout the Southern Sea that now found itself swarmed by a new claimant. The signature attendance of the Undying aboard the ships a tell-tale sign of who was potentially about to board you.
                 

Ambition had only been stoked, and a new target had been declared after hostilities had further ignited between the two quarrelling sea-dominant factions. The Kingdom of Fortune had become a target; their attempts at halting the progress of the Fleet recognized, and with it an immediate response was provided by the pirates. A declaration of their intent made with the continuous harassing of ships affiliated with the Kingdom of Fortune; a prelude to the precise strike that would come to the shores by their new neighbors.
                
An assault that had a specific target in mind; a target that would stir the hearts of not just the common folk within the Kingdom... but of the very royal that sat upon the throne.

The Deathwind Fleet gets its response steeped in the smell of gunpowder and the ringing of cannon-fire at the head of The Kingdom of Fortune's many ships and coastal fortifications. The message being clear, whatever ambition was stoked, whatever goals these pirates have will be crushed beneath the heel of the South Seas' finest. The intent has always been to clear the South seas of all Fel incursion, Marines clad in the gilded finery of Fortune are stationed in the defense of the many holdings of the now resurging nation.

The newly dubbed High Corsair, Camilia Ediernon shows no mercy to the undead harassers, intercepting any and all ships flying the black flag of piracy, or those bearing the darkened taint of necromancy. Providing counterweight against what would readily be a 'precise strike' without intervention. All attempts to kidnap or capture the Queen, Rio Emeraldi would be denied so long as the there is hope for success. 

The Kingdom of Fortune has stood for as long as it has for a reason. And in response to this attack the words of the High Corsair are readily spread. And her intent is made clear before the world. A direct challenging statement for Vyldrax himself.

With the recent surge of ships bearing the flag of the Deathwind Fleet upon southern waters, and the harassment of its Protectorate Vassal´s vessels, it was not long before the Goldlight Order issued its own measured response with a garrison deployment, of the Militant Wing and its Guardsmen upon the Isles, their administrative centers and their shipyards garnering a special focus. - A task made all the easier by the fact there was already a noteworthy presence of The Order´s military upon the Isles, seemingly in preparation for something else.

A convenient coincidence, that only served to benefit the defensive deployment, for land engagements were the armored Guard´s specialty.

The Goldlight Order would stand in defense of its Protectorate State.

Fleets of ships can be seen out in the waters, their patrol around that of the city threatened.
Aboard these ships goblins, beastkin, and human can be seen. All wearing the emblem of the city they come from, the Golden Flags of their ships held high in the sky.

Today, the forces of Prospera strike united against their foes

At the helm of these ships was a small goblin, a renown Monster Hunter through the lands. Through a makeshift Microphone he would speak to his various crews from on top the crow's nest.

Prospera comes to the defense of The Kingdom of Fortune!

Whilst a smaller force than many of the grand armies sent out, nonetheless Fortune's neighbor and ally sets sail. Possessing fewer ships than normal in the wake of their invasion, those that sail are their elite: Magi, almost exclusively.

"In our time of need, Fortune came to us. They helped defend our shores against this undead menace. We would be poor friends if we did not return the favor! Come, soldiers of the Traverse! To war once more. Our time to rest is not yet upon us!"

The Traverse sails to aid Fortune, their ally and neighbor.

The well-known and rather notable navy of Gloomlight has made decision to set sail to aid Fortune against the Deathwind Fleet.

It is for a different purpose, as per outlined specifically by the Oracle Loramelian.

The Aphrosian Forces present themselves to exterminate the Demons.

Only the finest within Gloomlight are sent to deal with the Fel threat that resides amongst the necromancer's assembly.

Gloomlight presents itself as a symbolic shield to that which is notably malicious to the world. Acting as a judge and balance to those who step too far into the darkness. We will not be turned away or act cowardly in the face of evil but instead turn our shields, blades, and cannons to any threat that believes they may step into the light without being burned by its pure touch.

The demons of Meranthe that lurk on the land and lay plunged in the darkness of the depths should live in fear that they are sought after with great effort to be reaped from the hemisphere wholly.

Gloomlight lends a small elite to the aid of Fortune to bolster relations and exterminate Fel.
