Elysium Training Program
After the victories at the hands of Aegis, the organization that stands over Citadel spreads the news of their own training regimen; The means through which one may join and raise through their ranks. While the presence of anyone is accepted as settlers, they begin to properly provide training and equipment to all those who wish to train in order to join Aegis' ranks, ensuring that they maintain their own quality as the foremost protectors of Meranthe.
An opening ceremony is scheduled for the start of the year 2093 AC, with the program being loosely similar to an academy of sorts, yet bearing little resemblance to a proper school; It still possesses a few classes that compose the training of any member who wishes to join their ranks or that of their allies, with graduation being associated to specific feats. Those classes are:
- Magical Theory - In general, a class meant to foster artificery, alchemy and general crafts, while still being useful to understand the basic nature of magic itself. While necessary to attend, it focuses on the principles of magic and its applications. To graduate this class, one must prove that they've understood the practical applications of theory, usually through extraordinary achievements such as new materials or participation in multiple processes.
- Combat Practice - For the warriors at heart, Combat Practice is where they prove their worth. In order to graduate, they must achieve the top of the student rankings or defeat one of their allotted teachers. In order to ensure that they understand the risk they're putting themselves in, all fights that will count need to have a certain risk for those involved.
- Faith - For those who wish to take themselves as part of a different faith, they will graduate once they take the oath of a respective deity and prove themselves capable of channeling their will through more than simple prayer.
Part of the program involves active involvement with the Adventurer's Guild Bounty Board as well as other bounties that may be offered within their ranks, providing another additional means for those who wish to graduate in their combat classes.
When one graduates in two classes, or graduates twice in one, they're capable of rising to the ranks of Warriors within Aegis, or leaving the academy certified that they belong to the best.
Additionally, lectures are held at the teachers' leisure, without mandatory attendance with the exception of some more basic topics that are meant to be learned even for those who fail to graduate. Additionally, every student has a period of 6 years to collect their two graduations since their entry into the Training Program, and not being able to do so will result in the denial to progress further into Aegis' ranks.
