As always from such a small and silent nation, not much is said or known about the on goings in the state of Nylfheim, the simple farm live of the Ookami and other residents continues as normal, things seem well, after it seems after some time after long thought the current mysterious Matriarch releases a statement about what will be happening to it.

Hello, everyone, I apologize for the silence as always, as I have been mulling over a choice to make after the battle brought to us by Liberato and his Chaos, Fel allies...

This choice was not an easy one to make, it took much time and mulling over to do, but it seems a choice I feel best for the ways of Nylfheim and the Melodian Faith.


It is by this choice I announce that Nylfheim shall now be a vassal state under Gloomlight, and I'll give the answer as too why-

The first reason is means of what I feel is a better unified defense. Our closet neighbor, Prospera, should we be under attack by invading forces again can mobilize quick and effective with their troopers and golems in aid to our defense, and along with this, means should others wish to come to our aid, it can holdout till others can send troops to our aid such as Delphina, Aegis, or the Goldlight Order as examples.


A second reason why is due to the outlook of Occultism shared between Delphina, Nylfheim, and Gloomlight. While I assume Delphina as of current does not mind that we allow occultists to live among us, as those who follow the path of Saekanis in the balance often take it up, it worries me to picture what could happen should something change suddenly and this put my fellow Ookami in-danger. With Gloomlight's aid not only can we make it so these people can properly learn and control their occultism as is fitting, but further prevent things such as Witches or such to hide amongst our people due to Prospera's anti-witch systems they displayed in the past.


The third and final reason is mostly on the view of the Melodian Faith itself, a faith about the balance of Creation and Destruction, upholding this balance, and a shared understanding on afew things I won't get into for the sake of length, as it is already very long. But I feel it will do with such faiths that share some common elements.




This does not mean we're not grateful for everything for the support and such Delphina has given us over the years, especially during the recent war waged with it coming to our aid, but as the Melodian text states in the Seventh Principle.

"Know Truth. Find your Truth in the Balance, and know your place in the spectrum."

This truth is that what we see as a natural part of the cycle, naturally part of this world due to Kraus and Saekanis, is something that would not fit in your society obviously, which is why I made this choice. But know that this does not mean we won't aid in return anyway we can, as part of this Truth is also now we are just a small farming community, selling crops, goods, and whatever we can, and will continue to provide this towards any who would come to respect us and earned our respect... But know that should needed, the Ookami will put down their plowshares for claws and blades in defense of humanity once again.


To be Ookami, and to be Melodian, is to find your own Truths, your own path, your own freedom...

And many Ookami in this world live by this to my knowledge, and will continue to do so whether from here or elsewhere...
