You are the children of a duo once lost, who have found their purpose in the loving embrace of each other's arms.

A balance, as with all things. Fate. To keep the world in its tender state, lest you forget that life and death are two sides of the same coin. Forever joined.

Your Father: Cain Shadecrest
Occult/Shadow/Summoning

A calm, gentle, and pious man. What was once a man plagued by the ravaging voices of Spirits and the dead, now at peace with his duty and purpose. Your father is a devout of Caius. A reaper, whose very purpose is to guide the souls of the dead to their final rest. You will be taught the ways of Caius and Lady Mortyl's will from a young age. Your Father instilling in your mind the importance of both life and death and of course, the importance of appreciating your life to its very fullest. Your father, while gentle, can be quite grumpy at times. His psyche forever ravaged and cursed by the voices of the damned. Though, he has his ways of quelling them. Always offering loving guidance to his children. While he may be distant at times, you will not be forgone the love you deserve.

A wandering spiritmancer and guide for the dead, your father would have much experience under his belt regarding both the ancient art of Spiritmancy and treating the spirits of eld. Not to mention the plethora of wisdom at his disposal regarding life as well. Whether it be your choice to learn from him or pave your own path, up to you entirely.

The Shadecrest name is a title that is seen with either indifference or scorn. Your father's past is rarely talked about. When discussed in rarity, he seems to speak in dismay over his ancient past. Having moved on to pursue his own path. Whether you take the Shadecrest name or not? Up to your discretion.


Your mother: Elise Corbin
Nature/Blood/Bone


An even kinder soul than your father. Elise is a peppy and rather chaotic woman. Whose embrace is as gentle as is her boldness and tendency to speak her mind. Elise is a woman filled with both the gentle cusp of nature and it's chaotic whims. A druid by all accounts, and one who's purpose is too trek the lands and attune herself to every waking whim of nature A Spiritmancer like your father, your mother too has the ability to see the spirits and the whims of the Lifestream. The very lands itself are attuned to her, she is at peace with the world. Her mission to aid in it's restoration.

An alchemist and researcher, your mother also has the ability to brew potions. You may have been caught in one of her 'experiment's from time to time. Explosions in the household are...certainly not a rare sight.

Your mother is also a skilled farmer, and can help grow some of the plants you may need for your vitamins as well as for any projects you may come up with as you grow. She has always believed in you and will encourage you to pursue studies you find yourself wishing to pursue. Though if you choose to pursue alchemy? She will do her best to aid in your studies. No matter the magics you use as you grow and develop, she will not judge you based on the magic you wish to use.



You Are:
- Either one of a set of twins or a lone child. There are two slots available, and each of you are free to start at the earliest of 11.

- You have a variety of cousins, aunts, and uncles out there to learn from. Not to mention your parents. Whether it be swordsmanship or the darker whims of magics, it is up to you to seek them out.

- You can spawn as either a Drakanite or Human.

- You will probably start in Sapphire(We're working that out)

- You would have lived most of your childhoods travelling with your parents on ship. You would remember your childhood being a bit chaotic, as you were moved from place to place, region to region. Your parents were both explorers and adventurers, with you having been brought along on the brunt of their endeavors. Whether it be travelling Sheng or the wastes of Esshar, you were there with your parents, even if you might not remember.

- You are encouraged to go down the path of a Spiritmancer, either worshipping Caius like your father or exploring the whims of the Lifestream and nature like your mother. While encouraged, it is not necessary.

- You can either take the surname Shadecrest or Corbin, depending on your preference. You are free to name your character whatever, as long as it's cute. If you don't want to pick a name or have trouble choosing, we can pick for you.

- You would have been raised with care and love. And as chaotic as your life may have been on the open seas, you will finally find reprieve on Meranthe. Your life and your decisions are up to you. All that we ask? Is that you make us proud and follow your heart. As dark or righteous they may be.

The hand of Lyco Corbin has taken place within the own dwellings of Aphros. For his name was not forgotten but his life had changed forever. From the wars of Dawnstone to the assault of the Fel Gardens, to the trials of the Hunt. Even the Order of the Silver Chalice has remained under the watch of the Noble House of Aphros, never to leave their once-guarded post of the servants of Athelios.

Your grandfather likely took you in should you not live with your parents, there is no hate nor malice. For he would offer you a different life above all else, it would be one infused with the Spirits. One taught by the half spirit himself... You would know the inner workings and are encouraged to take up the Summoning arts, while not required... it would be frowned upon to do anything less than that.

Your lessons would include that of the ways of Athelios, and even that of Caius. You would learn the history of Old Aphros of the Golden Plains. To secure the knowledge that was once lost to many is provided to you.

Even the arts of the Occult are open to you with welcome arms, after all the path less traveled often gives the greatest power.

There are mysteries even your Grandfather needs aid to explore, to expand the knowledge of the realms as one.
