Sightings of the Wraith

 
After a heated battle in the graveyard a few eyewitnesses report what they could only describe as a Wraith shrouded below the waist in shadows, larger than a normal man, engaging in battle with a singular brave woman who was bested but eluded capture in the end.
 
"The hate in his eyes.. He didn't even look at me and all I could feel was fear.. as if all of that would be turned on me next."
 
In the aftermath of the fighting, those who would inspect the Church would find the plant life of the grounds drained of sustenance, the ground itself leeched of what it took to sustain life there.. for now at least.
 
A final older eyewitness said they caught the Wraith leaving across the northern bridge, claiming he had seen the specter before.
 
"I've seen that thing before.. a long time ago... but it wasn't a monster then.. where do I know that face..?"
 
Though this only serves to add to the mystery, what exactly had appeared in the graveyard..?

The newly appointed Oracle of Faith heard of the attack; However, he wasn't there to catch the Wraith that was spotted in the area. Although the young man had a message for all those that continue to attack the Church.

"All those that use that wicked magic and everyone else that plans to attack this Holy place be warned. I'm not a Violent man; however, you're testing my patience and I'm letting it be know there is a protector of this Holy land. If you feel you're able to continue your meaningless attacks, hurting people for the sake of your sick rituals this ends today! My name is Andrew Mercia and let this be a warning. If you step foot on this land again to caused harm to the Church or anyone on this holy land be prepared to repent for your sins for that will be the day I become your Judge and Jury."

There was flyers being passed around allowing everyone to rest easy. The Faith hasn't be as active in the past, but now was time for change and with change comes a bright future; however, this isn't something that can be done alone. The flyers also encourage those that wish to deepen their Faith seek out the Oracle Andrew Mercia with a little message at the bottom stating.

"Together we will rebuild the Faith and restore the Church to a state of Glory!"

It seemed that whatever fell creature had attacked the first time had heard the words of the one who spoke out after the first attack.

Andrew Mercia was found hardly able to stand, his body drained, many of the headstones left in ruin beneath the wake of the battle that occurred there. Magma from the Oracle leaving the grounds aflame, evidence of the Occult as what remained was dead and brittle enough to crumble to dust.. It could easily be assumed this attacker and the first were one and the same.

"Tha' Wraith came back I heard.. and the one watching over the Church ain' look to great after.. almost looked lifeless.."
