The Celestial Church

A change in leadership has come to the faith that permeates this land in the form of a blindfolded woman with a strong speaking voice, one sultry to the ear as she gives her declaration to the reinvigoration of what the city had believed in for a time but has waned in hope.  

 

“Many of you do not know me unless you are a soldier that has visited me in the hospital as I treated your wounds. For many years I have been a quiet part of the church, doing my duty to aid those who risk their lives to protect the city from the denizens of the dark, aiding the meek when their body fails them for a time. My name is Séven, and as of now, the church itself has seen years of turmoil in direction due to the circumstances that we face.” 

 

"I encourage those of all faiths of life walk into our doors or see the many acolytes, deacons, priests, or Oracles to come to the church. We are not here to spout dogma, or change your perspective in life, only to show you our way of life, and keep you safe when all seems lost” 

 

“To the demons that torment our homes, and test our faith, to you I say that a new wave Is coming. No matter what is thrown at us, we will rise from the ashes of the fallen and rise to see the sun. Our effort is *endless* and while our hope had dwindled for a time, that hope is *undying*.” 

 

“To the people, once upon a time, the faith had been well within our city, but slowly the hope that the church was a safe place to be, a safe place to worship has faltered. That belief will return, it would be platitudinous to say that with a new direction, that we will bring change. What we will do, is show you with our works, with our effort, and with our dedication. Speeches are something for the politicians, and at the moment, now is the time...."
