A requiem for Mortyl

Is this your fate or the hand of some other being driving you here?

All around the continent word begins to spread, a tournament to be held with the stakes of the highest caliber. When faced with overwhelming tragedy already, who would dare join a tournament that only sought to cause more? A grand celebration to Mortyl is only fitting, with so much death in the air it's begging to be brought to life before our very eyes.

The Rules of the Tournament

   1. All fights within the tournament will be [DANGERS]
                   4. The quarter finals will be [CAP 1] by default but can be higher
              5. The semifinals will be [CAP 2] by default but can be higher
            6. The finals will be [CAP 3] by default and cannot go lower
                               

A special addendum: The spirits of those slain must be allowed to pass on

Tournament Prize List

1st place; 250,000 Crowns +



2nd place; 100,000 Crowns +

3rd Place; 50,000 Crowns

The tournament itself will be open to everyone, this doesn't actually guarantee you safety.
If you show up and you have enemies at the event, it is quite possible they might try to throw down.
You will have to weigh this on your end, and see if it is worth attending!

This event is going to be heavily Mortyl themed and I encourage those who are roleplaying as Mortyl priests,
or those connected to Mortyl to participate. I'm no lore expert, so it would be nice to see you there.

At most sixteen individuals will be allowed to enter, for a total of eight fights.
I imagine this will be a lengthy public event if picked up/approved, try and post in a reasonable amount of time.
Unless your character is in their final moments, please attempt to keep your posts to the etiquette rules of 10 minutes or so.

A requiem for Mortyl will be held this coming friday, a host has been found and now everything is set!

The fights have been switched to dangerous instead of deadly... Feel free to push for deadly though.

After hearing some feedback on the rules, I will admit they are a little heavy.
With that being said, these are the amended rules:


  1. All fights within the tournament will be [DANGERS]

2. Once a fight has begun you cannot back out of it

                                         3. If your opponent forfeits, they will be capped; To continue they must be killed

                   4. The quarter finals will be [CAP 1] by default but can be higher

              5. The semifinals will be [CAP 2] by default but can be higher

            6. The finals will be [CAP 3] by default and cannot go lower

                               7. The prize for the finalist can only be claimed if they kill their opponent
