It took only one expedition to root out the influence of the Demon, Varrach. To see it undone and revoked entirely from our world so that it may no longer be a threat. Hundreds of threats vanquished within minutes, demons eradicated at the hands of the heroes that accompanied Bartomeus Wilkinsson, the Inheritor. Vdalion's ruins lay uncovered, and with it the Phoenix Core that contained the power to cleanse the Mount once and for all. To use the energy in a ritual that would forever end the era that brought so much pain into the lives of Meranthe, so that a new one may take over in a guiding principle that man shall rule Meranthe again.

With the True Giant heralding the Sundered Enclave, they finally reach the goal they set out to do so long ago. Victory over the demons, a new home of Giants and a volcanic Hearth reclaimed in the name of peace and prosperity for years to come. A crusade against chaos, that ended successfully with the death of Catildre, Goddess of Discord, with the only issue being the inheritors she implanted onto the land. 

Looming threats border Meranthe once more, but before moving onto a new chapter, it must first close its most crucial one. A step forward, to better the world despite all the chaos, agony and pain that befall it during these trying times.
