Quote:
Lady Aschea, with her last breath, gave unto us her last wishes;

To see each and every one of us yearn for the skies.

To reach the greatest heights we may possibly aspire to.

To live in Harmony's grace, and know that pain and struggle are but temporary things.

And to know that the struggle, in the end, is worth the price.

Patron: Aschea's Inheritor, Azalea Aubreen.
Religious Head: The Inheritor.

An evolution of the Aschean faith, the word of Harmony was born out of the ashes and grief of the loss of the last echoes of Aschea. Both a religion and a way of life, those who walk the path of Harmony seek a greater, closer connection to the world and the Lifestream. With the ascendance of Azalea Aubreen  to the position of Aschea's Inheritor, the word has slowly spread through the ranks of the remaining Aschean faithful throughout Meranthe, and some have chosen to embrace this change.

The Path of Harmony is one of Balance - as Aschea once represented. More than a simple understanding - each follower of the path, in their own way, is responsible for the balance to be maintained so Harmony may flourish. Through the practice of the beliefs held dearly by The Inheritor - the Path is found, although the Path is different for each and every person. The Path, and where it takes one, is less of a question and more of an individual journey.

A key point of Harmony, spoken both by it's earliest adherents and the Inheritor, is resilience. To endure the trials of life, no matter the cruelty and terribleness they may hold - no matter how difficult it may be to stand once more. But to stand again - and take even a singular step forward, is to embrace the truth of Harmony;

That life overcomes all struggle, eventually, through it's inherent strength.

The tenets of Harmony are simple on the surface, but complex beneath;

Quote:To see all things live, grow, and thrive.

To see the world kept in balance, so the above may be done.

To live, one must be sheltered and protected for a time,

To grow, one must overcome the trials and tribulations of the Path,

To thrive, one must find their own truth and answer on their Path.

Only in the end, with a lifetime of perspective, is the answer of each and every individual's path known.

Harmony's Wardens:

???:

The Inheritor.

Chosen by Aschea.

Saint:

The vaunted few.

Those who know, more than anything, what it means to walk the Path of Harmony.

To give freely their bodies and souls to see it flourish.

Often, they are powerful psions and radiants of Harmony - gifted with the most intimate of knowledge the Inheritor may offer.

Only those truly dedicated to the Path will ever have a chance at being bestowed Sainthood.

Diviner:

A hallowed name, the Diviners stand alone as those entrusted to peer into the Lifestream and predict events that may unfold. Closely related to Seers, they are oft those with great experience in both the Word of Harmony and the world in general.

Justicar:

The swords and shields of Harmony - the few souls who have pledged themselves to the Path and to defend all who walk it and the innocent. Justicars are to be unflinching swords and shields in the defense of all that is good in the world, contemplative of their actions and the fallout in times after the call is heard.

Curate:

Those who hold dear the knowledge of times gone by, and the histories of Aschea's legacy. In each, there may be a thousand stories, a thousand paths seen and remembered. Objects precious to the Word may be held by them, and a position as Curate is not unknown to be a stepping stone towards a Diviner.

Clergy:

Those who spread the Word of Harmony and provide counsel to those in need; often a temporary step before reaching the heights of a Curate or a Justicar, some time spent as a member of the Clergy is required.

Apotropaic:

The first step taken as a walker of the Path of Harmony; blessed with ambition, these fledglings are taught the way of the Path and to seek their own meaning in it's virtues.

The Word of Harmony is still young - there is much that has yet to be established...
