The Grand Design
[2106AC]
“He who suffers, conquers.”

Patron: The Creator and His Creations [Kraus]
Religious Head: The Architect (of Creation)

Considered an unofficial splintering of the faith of Nought, the belief in the Grand Design is equal parts philosophy and faith borne of the shared belief and dream of Talguth, the Exalted-in-Waiting, and Na’Ria, the Archon of Knowledge. Deeply metaphysical by design, the Grand Design’s idea stems from an inherent knowledge of something Above, Below, Beyond, and Because; as such, all beliefs associated with this faith are of the conceptual and esoteric degrees, and as such are left to anyone’s interpretations.

Beginning within the Gloomlight Grove, and within the null dimension of Unreality, the foundation of the belief is primarily Krausite in nature, yet the origin of the faith proper is one of Talguth’s design. Those that follow the Grand Design in full will find that their power is drawn through the entirety of Creation, before being led through Talguth as an intermediary. As such, the faith is able to draw upon energies that are Not there, and may be seen as drawing power from Nothing, which is not technically incorrect.

To Believe in the Grand Design is to Understand it; the easiest way to Understand it is to know that the Grand Design is the meta-narrative essence of Being, and knowing of everything that happens being for an express reason and purpose. This is partly because of the Creator’s whims, who indulged in the act of Creation through becoming Nothing, which became Something– yet it is also partly due to the presence of the Author(s), which are responsible for personal, group-wide, national, and global meta-narrative developments, which cause every action to be made and every thing to be possible or impossible. The Trinity of Being (The Grand Design, The Creator, and The Author[s]) are the primary focus and thought-form of the entire Belief, thusly; without them, nothing would Be.

To Understand the depths of the Grand Design is to know that Fate and Destiny are simultaneously set in stone, yet as mutable as clay; the Path of one’s Story only ends when an Author writes it so or abandons their pen. Thus, following the Path of the Grand Design’s make is to weave one’s own Fate and Destiny.

To Follow the Grand Design is to understand the innate Exaltation through Suffering, as Suffering causes Exaltation; it must not be actively pursued, but pain and torment can be turned to greater strengths. Such that the Author wills it, and the Grand Design moves in such a path to make it possible, the Path will open and permit the impossible to become possible.

Though innately Krausite by design, the faith encourages additional idols of worship, especially of the Divine Dragons, the Constants, and the Pantheon; omitted exclusively are fel figures of worship such as Marquis, and are not accepted as those worthy of following in the steps of. They are to be used as an instruction of why positive and negative forces exist; because the Grand Design’s totality is far more than a black and white scale.

The Design’s Keepers:

The Architect
The Architect of Creation. Authority over the Belief, and Oracle of Divine Truth.

The Librarians
The scribes and pivotal human infrastructure required to uphold Creation’s glory. Teachers of the Truth, and the few that urge others to follow the True Path under the Grand Design’s whims.

The Minstrels
Veterans of the Belief, and followers of the Truth. Stepping to the Exalted Path that may glimpse the Truth in its entirety, these are an intermediary between the learning and the learned.

The Poets
The beginning of the Belief, and pursuant hopefuls of the Truth. Serving Creation and His ideas, they follow the Path that may lead them to greater heights, learning Truths along the way.

The Many
The listeners and laymen that may be brought to Creation’s Truths through observation. They are to be safeguarded until they place their feet upon the first step of their Path.

Rituals:

The rites of the Grand Design are not recorded to any official capacity. Instead, each rite is personalized and specified in purpose with the penmanship of the Architect, and support of the Librarians. It is unknown just what may be done in the name of the Grand Design, as it grows into something of its own; however, future rituals will be penned for others’ purviewing, to glimpse into what may be done.

The Oaths of the Trinity:

Self-Understanding is the Path to Self-Creation; follow the Path to your personal Truth, even if it crosses into conflict and suffering– as no Truth should be so simple.

Stand in solidarity with the harmony of Joyous Creation; do not fall into dark temptation, but instead embody the Light of the Creator– as the Light was His make, and is His Creation.

Do not despair for your own torments; all things happen for a reason under the Grand Design, and personal struggles evolve into personal Exaltations– to burn is to emerge anew.

Pursue the impossibilities of Creation; as all things Can Be under the Grand Design and under the willingness of the Creator, all things are possible– all it requires is the Author’s efforts.

Do not pursue Perfection; it does not exist, but many more things await. Nothing is Perfect; Nothing simply Is.

The Grand Design finds its roots within the Gloomlight Grove and within Unreality, yet are distinct from any official or political actions of either. All of any walks are allowed to join the creed of the Grand Design’s followers, and are to keep an open mind for any further developments.
As such, any willing to join the worship of the Grand Design are to seek out Na’Ria, the Archon. This may be done either in writing or in person.

There is a summons, a sermon that is planned.
It is a faint echo to the Mirror to Avalon.

The obfuscated nature of the Soul is one that has eluded others for quite some time. Yet here, in this realm, a being that's become Beyond the nature of an ordinary Soul has manifested, the Divine-Soul that now is the eponymous, mysterious Archon.

A lecture, equal parts a sermon, will be hosted by the Radiant of the Grand Design, Na'Ria, on the qualities of the Soul.
Moreover, it'll discuss in finer detail how casting is empowered from it, and the nature of occultic and holy mana, as well as the standard fonts for casting spells; the purpose of such a sermon seems to be informing the public of alternative paths, and imploring others to develop their magical ability in unorthodox ways.

Those who wish to be shown His Light, to be inducted and beholden to the Divine Will of the Creator, and join the Faith of the Grand Design-- be it as one of The Many, or as a true Faithful, are similarly invited to learn from, and of, Na'Ria and her path.

It is a Story to be told, after all.

"O' Purest Epitome of Light, I Hear Thy Call."
"To Devote Mineself to the Pursuit of Thy Truth."
A Sermon is announced, one proclaimed by the Librarian of the Grand Design.
One of the devotion of the mind to understanding, through the commitment of the body to the ephemeral.

Mei'Ria, Keeper of Truth, shall be hosting a sermon to the Creator Kraus in the Realm of Naught.

Any who seek to venerate the angels, learn of the purest essence of understanding, or desire to learn more about the being known as Kraus are welcome to attend.

In addition, aspirants of the faith may be Baptized in the waters of the Psi-Tree, to offer insights beyond what mortal minds can understand.
