Synthetic Awakening

A seemingly forgotten art made its resurgence. A synthetic life form unlike any other, bio-artificial in nature. These beings are known as Sentionauts, the final creation of a long-departed soul. They are gifted with several advantages, with an anatomical structure comparable to that of their biological contemporaries. However, some modifications set them apart. One notable adjustment being their size, notably larger than that of the average being. There are many reasons for this, most of which are lost to time.
 
Several decades had passed, and most had forgotten the inception of such wonders. Yet, their creation never ceased. Stalled, delayed, and troubled for many years; nonetheless, it endured. The project was continued. Persisting by the elusive hands of the Percipience's Doyen. Along with those under their employ. Two more were produced beneath the Sapphire Bay. Hidden away in the Halls of the Gilded Facility. 
 
Both were brought offshore for a final procedure, one activating their latent potential. A final gift, the knowledge of generations learned in an instant. This being an advantage they are uniquely attuned to. Sentionauts, are born with a deep understanding of the world about them. Multiple languages, mathematics, sciences, even advanced combatives. All loaded in during their inception.  What remains to be learned is personality. Knowledge, its gifting and purpose only offering a head-start to this synthetic life. That being their purpose, to live. Soulless(*), but alive. Thoughts, dreams, hopes, loves, fears, pains, sorrows, all present within their being. Truly setting the Sentionauts apart.

Who you are:
You are one of the few Sentionauts in existence. Your eldest sibling is Tergiversation, the first of your kind.
 
You will start as a Synthetic, a custom base sprite is provided for you as well.
 
Your average height is nine to ten feet tall. There are exceptions on either side, but no smaller than eight and a half feet. Anything smaller than that wouldn’t be a possibility considering the lore of the Sentionauts.
 
You are a biosynthetic with a human-like personality. This is something you come into, it will take time and development. Your academic knowledge is achieved instantly. It is social understanding that will take time. Conversation, social cues, facial expressions, these are things the Sentionaut must learn.

OOC:
You will be spawning within the Silent Expanse. Precisely within the Frontier, that will be your original city. There is one other thing to keep in mind when accepting a Sentionaut role.
 
You’ve established lore with your creation, and much of your purpose. This, however, is primarily IC. You’ll learn about it OOCly during your creation.
