[CLAIM] To Rule The Seas

In the wake of the disappearance of its new rulers,
Port Fortune lies within the ocean with no master.
And so one particular Sirenian makes her intent clear.

Once upon a time, I called these islands home. There had been some issues with people, certainly, and so I eventually found my way to where I am now-... but not even for a moment have the seas stopped being somewhere I belong. No, far from it-... the legends I have only known by ear and tablet, passed down through generations amongst my people, are real. I have conquered them, conquering them to this day. The seas are mine to safeguard, to protect, to oversee. All of this is to say, of course...

I think this place would look nicely with black and white banners hanging from up high. Athelios would surely love to see Aphros with a navy, and Yama would thank me for reclaiming the seas from the wretches.

As claims carry over the seas,
A single, shy voice calls out
Declaring this place his home

When the Hand of God desolated these islands, I often wandered here to gather fruit. Eventually, as the witches no longer showed their faces, I fixed up a few of the buildings to call home.

I hoped to follow in the footsteps of my boss and create a place of my own. A quiet isle safe from troubles, for travelers to pay their respects to Enarr and Chireus. I had hoped that the fall of the coven would mean nothing but peace...

And so I hope it stays that way.

A simple missive, appended non-obtrusively to the declaration of of Syne's intent to lay claim to the island appears, bearing the Oracle's mark.

"For clarity, the actions of Mnemosyne Montelione in this are being done as an independent agent and do not represent Gloomlight Grove or its' interests. She, and any other members of the Bastion who march for this upcoming battle royale, are doing so of their own free will and are under no orders or obligation within the context of their service to Aphros. It has been almost a year, has it not? For those of you all who want a piece of this, I've given you time to speak. Whether you want to help or not, it matters not.
I will take this island from any wretches who'd see it desecrated myself, if I have to. I have no taste for reticence.
