And end to kindness
#1
Around mid-point, a series of runes can be spotted. They are carved into stone, into trees, assembled from sticks and branches to hang from the surrounding vegetation. The intent of delivering an open message to all of the trade-hub was clear, as the words they emit into their surrounding area rings forth over and over.

Quote:
You truly are foolish. Demonic hordes are approaching. A repeat of suffering is on the horizon. And you choose to not only interfere with my own work now, but to release one of the arch enemies to the lifestream again so that it can attach itself to another soul.
You called me a mentor figure at one point. But apparently I have not been able to teach you a single thing, now that you decide on this new course of action. Is it because you are blind, foolish, an overblown ego or a family curse that plagues you?
In my years, I have tried to be kind, to make a difference not with a sword but with words. But I suppose my kindness was trampled on once more.
This was my last straw. I explained it all already and you still chose to march. Your work truly is your own, and will not endure.
You may consider this my open declaration against you, Madavayanna, and mid-point as a whole.
You have managed to now piss me off enough to, for the first time in my life, forgoe words and instead attack anyone wearing your uniforms on sight.
This is the end of my kindness.

There were only so many people with knowledge on runes on this level around. It is easy enough to pinpoint them back to Christophore Garijn. His button had been pushed one too many times.
