Two-pronged is her purpose for this trip-- The recovery of an artifact, and the opportunity to gaze upon something and come to her own conclusions on its' merits and detriments.

She will find Exodus, blade of the once-King of Nostvale. And she will with it achieve her ultimate dream-- To master the Occult, not through denial, but through passion. To embrace who she is, and wield that destructive power as an instrument of change and revolution, not as a mere tool of erosion. The rest of her agenda?
