Lately, villagers and wandering merchants have reported sightings of a large minotaur-like creature attacking unsuspecting victims, including children. Where these mysterious attacks take place, there are descriptions of a large veil of dark energy and gloom blossoming, disappearing soon thereafter. Faction and camp authorities are starting to warn travelers to move in groups.

Some claim they were cursed by this creature, but these statements have yet to be verified.
