The Illuminated Faith
Of Jiuweihu
The Great Divine Spirit of the Sun

With the exterior build completed for the Shrine of the Illuminated,
located in the northern area of Frontier's Carnation District,
many magi and non-magi alike get to work on fixating the interior of the sacred building.

Various donations will be secured within the confines of this safe haven,
gifted by the many mages that had generously offered their sentimental objects to Hina Lam at the special ceremony.

In the recent months since the external aspect of the building was coated in Shengese elements,
the ranks of the Faith have officially been set (in the guild).

The Chancellor of the Illuminated faith on Meranthe, Hina Lam, extends a colorfully vibrant invitation to friends allied with Frontier, and herself,

to grow with her under the radiance of the Sun and walk a bright path in life filled with warmth, happiness, and improvement.

Be it as a supporter and learner of the faith,

or a follower of Jiuweihu and indulge yourself in the rites of passage to by judged by her.

For 'initiates' of the faith of the Illuminated, you will be given the role of 'Luminate.'
Due to weird guild settings, some of the roles don't allow more than one person per rank?
There are two Luminate roles in the guild as a result for now until that gets fixed.
Anyone curious about the faith and want to support it/help spread the word will be given a 'Supporter' role.
Other roles in the guild will be given to Luminates as they complete their rituals!

The first sermon will be hosted on Monday, October 23nd at 4PM EST.
If you cannot make it to this sermon, that's alright!
I will be allowing individual scenes after the sermon is hosted, throughout the week!

After a radical performance in the Shrine of the Illuminated,
amidst the story of Twenty-Nine Nights, One Dawn,
the first Sermon hosted by the Illuminated Chancellor, Hina Lam, is complete.

The story of Jiuweihu's birth and the creation of the Kitsune had been expressed, but now?
It was time for the curious to partake in the second Sermon of the Illuminated Faith.

Another set of colorful invitations is cast out to those friendly with Frontier and Hina, herself.

"Friends of the Illuminated, I thank you all for coming to learn about the story of Jiuweihu and the creation of her Kitsune."
"Your attendance warmed my heart, and to reiterate a story of old, passed down through generations, made me happy."
"I hope you all enjoyed it! And now?"

"To all of those that attended, and for others who still want to learn, I invite all of you back to the Shrine in some month's time!"
"I'll be hosting a second Sermon about the Faith of the Illuminated!"

"This time, however, it will regard the creation of the faith, the culture for those mingled in it - Luminism,
what it means to be a Luminate of the Faith, the Rituals to attune oneself with Jiuweihu, familial ties, and morality virtues."

Lore of the Illuminated Faith

After various sermons had been hosted to establish the religion of Jiuweihu across Meranthe again after being scarce for so long,
the official ranks have finally been set in the Guild that indicates the segment each member of the faith, or supporter, is posted at.

Chancellor
The Chancellor of the Illuminated faith of Jiuweihu is the Illuminated Leader, who is Illuminated by Her light, having been judged as morally sound.
You cannot be the Chancellor unless one is Illuminated and proven worthy of Jiuweihu's Light.

Illuminated
The Illuminated are individuals that have been judged morally sound by Jiuweihu and bathe in her protective glow.
These are individuals in the faith that have gone through all three special rites of passage successfully to achieve this.
Illuminated are eligible to become the Chancellor once the title is ready to be passed on to the next in line that the current Chancellor choses.
These are ascended Luminates, now titled as 'Illuminated.'

Aversion
Those of this rank are any Luminates that have completed the second ritual of the Illuminated faith - the Ritual of Aversion.
This role is made to keep track of those who have successfully performed this ritual.
Those within this role are still to be considered as 'Luminates,' not Aversion.

Light
Those of this rank are any Luminates that have completed the first ritual of the Illuminated faith - the Ritual of Light.
This role is made to keep track of those who have successfully performed this ritual.
Those within this role are still to be considered as 'Luminates,' not Light.

Luminate
A Luminate is one initiated in faith that shows growing conviction towards Jiuweihu and practices her virtures of the faith.
This role is reserved for any Luminate that has not undergone any rituals yet.

Initiate
An Initiate of the Illuminated is reserved for those interested in learning and partaking in the Faith, but have much to learn in their developing convictions to Jiuweihu.
Initiates in this role are not Luminates. They are initiates that must learn the ways of the faith, the morality meanings, the virtues, the rituals, etc. before becoming a Luminate.

Supporter
This role is reserved for friends of the faith that support its ambitions upon Meranthe.

For those of initiation made into Luminates, baptisms (Faith Initiate for 5 RPP) will not be performed until the Ritual of Aversion is completed and the Luminate can show unwavering principle towards the Illuminated Faith.
