The Hate In Our Hearts [Public Event]
#1
Notes:
Before Palade died, who possessed the sword previously, I asked if I could run an event to get Invidentia back into circulation since it was just sitting in a box, as it was quite literally designed to be passed from hand, to hand, via admin intervention if necessary. Palade gave the green light in case she didn't find any suitable wielder in the last Skarnfel v Alliance war, and since died, pretty much leaving no one able to pass it along anymore.

Name of Event & Type:
The Hate In Our Hearts

Your DM Key:
Spiff DM

Summary/Outline of the Event: [Public]
Invidentia, once Isley's sword, then Elvyn's, blessed by Pylae, now collects nothing but animosity within the Enclave. Though initially not sentient in itself, it feeds off hatred,
and anger, much of which was aimed towards the Enclave in recent times. Death, fanaticism, and a dangerous hunger to purge the unclean seeped into the weapon, forming a pseudo-intelligence in the form of a spirit. This spirit, aptly dubbed 'The Wandering Hate', has one sole purpose now, which is to locate a suitable new wielder so that the weapon can continue the war its original wielder intended for it.

    1. Announcement will be made that a strange sensation of animosity is growing from the Enclave. This is (presumably) summon a bunch of players to see what's going on. They'll find a whispy, smoke-like entity holding Invidentia, trying to make its way out of the temple, but it will address those that try to stop it, explaining its purpose, and such. That it wants to be
wielded again, and will wander until it finds someone who'll pick it up.

    2. If it isn't stopped it will do exactly that-- leave. From then on, I'll periodically be rolling a dice to see which settlement it visits first from this list:
        1) Dal'Thala
        2) Aphros
        3) Dawnstone
        4) The Frontier

Where it will begin to question people of their hate towards demons, and dark arts. It'll be abrasive, and intrusive, and give off a sense of choking miasma to those around it, as it radiates its own malice towards the Fel arts. Should it encounter a likewise soul, it will attempt to test them. First verbally to see how they react to various questions, and then in a direct challenge.

It doesn't matter if they win or lose, come the end of the fight, the the spirit will know if the wearer is prepared for the burden, and responsibility Invidentia brings.

In this instance, it will be a 1v1, and the EC will use the following stats:
- 250 Vitality
- 250 Power
- 200 Agility
- 150 Mana

It will be using the Bone/Blood/Armed trees & Windwalker, with no signatures.
This is to simulate a real player-- specifically, the sword's first wearer at the time of her death.

This will be a standard dangerous 0 battle.

If the EC loses, its temps/perms will be restored due to its nature.

    3. If the person in question is considered worthy, the spirit will offer Invidentia to them, and disappear. If the person is NOT considered worthy, the spirit will announce them as such, and then proceed to try to find a different person from any present, if none are worthy, or if no one steps up, the spirit will depart, and repeat step 2 in a different location.

    4. Multiples trying to engage the spirit will see it fight back at an increased level. At that point, it will instead use these stats:
- 90,000 HP per person, up to 5
- 400 power
- 1000 agility, 0 crit
- Infinite mana

It will again use Bone/Blood/Armed, although it will incorporate some of the new DM spells in place of less teamfight-friendly spells.
The fight will be a sparring 0, and follow the table seen below.

Should the spirit be defeated, it will drop a few dev materials, and then vanish with Invidentia, returning to the beginning of stage 2.

Injury Table for a 1v5:
RISK: MEDIUM!
IF UNHARMED: /roll - 1 is a 24 day temp, 2-4 is 12 day temp

Vengeful Tapestry
"Ethereal, and incredibly light, this roll of tattered, ghastly textile seems to radiate pure malice. It could only have belonged to the vengeful sort in life, and now in death as well. A skilled craftsman could likely turn the brittle, and yet incredibly potent cloth into something wondrous, allowing yet another soul to be steeped in the presence of baleful mind-fire.

Despite its overtly negative aura, the cloth appears to ward the Fel quite well, even going so far as to reject its own use in related crafts of the sort. For its hate was always aimed towards evil, never to falter, or bend. Just like the people that once held high the Wandering Hate."
[C-grade material]
